The game sucks, but I am find it sucks for entirely different reasons:>story is nonexistent>censorship out the yin yang>Diablo-style loot system is made even worse by the Samurai/Ninja dichotomy >Koei really ramped up the Dark Souls amount of cheese/bullshit with the bosses. Insane amounts of tracking, hyper armor, attacks that take off 2/3rds of your health, Human bosses are somehow more bullshit than the Yokai ones, AOE spam at the end of long combo chains, etc.>Engine just straight up looks worse than Nioh 2's. Dead or Alive 6 all over again.

Bought Nioh 2, and didn't get very far because it was just more of the same shit. Nioh 3 demo actually feels fun with a lot of stuff to do, and the different approach to level structures makes the game feel fresh and not just another full priced DLC package.
After killing the red-armoured samurai boss in the second crucible, and gettoing a new guardian spirit, I still can't access all the spirit veins in the first zone. When will I be able to traverse them?

It isn't even a difficulty issue, the game is just weightless button mashing until you either got close to depleting your Ki, where you then perform a Ki Pulse/Ki Pulse stance/weapon swap, or you see the enemy do any animation that isn't it's default walking animation and just wait to hit the dodge/block button. All weapon types attack exactly the same as each other. Your starting katana is literally the exact same as your end game purple katanas, with passives and numbers going up being the only thing that seperates them. All enemies are weightless freight trains that will rape you if they hit you, and the only thing that seperates them from one another is how long it takes to kill them, where their yellow glowing weakpoint sits, and if they have a grab or an football field length charge/projectile attack. This didn't change for Nioh 2. This didn't really change in Nioh 3. The difference here is, there is more than just the mediocre combat system to keep you entertained.
