In general you can pretty much disregard anyone who uses star alignment as their metric when discussing general class strengths and weaknesses. Mitigating the rng IS a strength. Outliers are outliers. I'd rank cleric pretty low in general, especially since sources of consistent healing are not scarce. You could make an argument for debuffs, but the cleric ability kit is strangely light on debuff removal focus compared to healing. Also because most combats average 2-3 rounds for base encounters and about 5 for bosses (although this is a crapshoot estimate for "mechanics and phases") debuffs are not very strong in this game. Anything that functions over time is considerably weaker in such a low round format.tl;dr: no class I've encountered so far is outright garbage, but Tank is the clear strongest not cleric.
