It's 2026 and people still believe in B...

you shouldn't swap b and a's answers around if you want to make a coherent argument

Is there a change in gravitational pull before and after the doorway?
If yes, then it's B.

I want to say equal or the top one, since he's bearing the entire force. The fact they are going opposite directions should be irrelevant, as they aren't acting on each other, only on him. But I'm sure it'll be the bottom because it looks like one of those switcheroo ones.

I'm not good at physics, break down the answer for me.

>man has no idea about something
>decides to tell everyone what he thinks
Hm, interesting waste of time. What do you think about this tho? Have you ever noticed that after a minor patch in a game—nothing in the notes except “stability improvements”—the jump timing feels microscopically different, not slower exactly but as if the air has been resized, and ever since then the menus seem to open with a slightly more decisive sound even though you’re sure the volume slider hasn’t moved? I’m wondering if it’s related to how save files age in the background, because my older saves feel heavier to scroll past, and sometimes when I load into a familiar area it’s like the lighting remembers a version of me that took a different route through it.

Also, does anyone else get the sense that NPC pathfinding changes based on how long you’ve been thinking about your next objective, like they hesitate more if you’re undecided, or is that just latency arranging itself into patterns that look intentional? I tried starting a new character to test it, but the tutorial dialogue seemed to pause half a second longer between sentences, almost as if it was waiting for my previous playthrough to catch up.

I can’t tell whether this is a frame pacing thing, a psychological carryover from patch day, or if the game world slightly rebalances gravity whenever achievements sync in the background. Has anyone else felt that, or am I just noticing the loading screen tips more than I used to?

He has to bear the force of two horses instead of just one.
In the other one he has the tree as an anchorpoint to pull the force of one horse instead.
>>
>>732995187
In theory and in the context originally intended, they're equal because the system is in equilibrium so the tree is "pulling" on the rope with the same force as the horse is.
In practice the answer is top, because there are other forces working on the system than just the horses and the tree pulling on the ropes.

That's not what the origianl B meant though. In the original B, the person or object going through the portal retained their speed relative to the portal, so it's actually equivalent to your A example.

Jesse what the fuck are you talking about?

Its 2026 and retard people why didn't played the game keep making this non canon discussion.
Portals on platforms that move forward/backward disappear. Only when platforms moves perpendicularly (up, down, sideways) they don't disappear.

But if it's the standard image they all just repeat the same shit about hula hoops, proving they've actually all seen it before

But at the same time I guess they do have to pretend they've never heard the refutation before
>>
>>732994980
It entirely depends on how the portal gun technology is developed and implemented. Both could be true due to the bespoke technology used to make a portal gun, or several could work differently from one another.

See, you're all wrong and I'm right. Doesn't that suck? For (You)?
>>
>>733003106
A can't be true under any circumstances because it's logically incoherent.
>>
>>732998468
It's 2026 and we still get people not recognising non-canon gameplay limitations. Do you also think every invisible wall in a game is some manner of forcefield support in the game's lore?

"relative velocity to entrance on entering = relative velocity to exit on exiting" including relative direction is how portals are shown to work..

The only reason this discussion still goes on is that afags are too stupid to understand what "relative velocity to entrance on entering = relative velocity to exit on exiting" means.
>>
I spent the last 15 years making both A and B retarded arguments. And even I am getting sick of unironic A posters.
>>
>>733004832
What even is the "retarded B" argument? The atoms of the cube push the other atoms?
