Why did americans think that taking a massive shit on the Super Famicom design was a good move?

Why is there just one autist that obsesses over the American SNES like nigga go back to your zed ecks spectrum because you're on it already
>>
>>733001164
Famicom > NES
SNES > Super Famicom
>>
>>733001164
Because it was.
Bottom looks like a toy for preschoolers. Nips may not have given much of a shit about that but Burgers certainly would have ridiculed it, giving Sega a monopoly over the NA market.
>>
I don't care either way but dropping the colored buttons and logo was stupid. Every third party controller still had the colored buttons and it didn't stop anyone from buying them.
>>
>>733001164
Small penis mindset.
>>
>>733001854
>colors are for preschoolers
>different shades of purple is for adults
Burgerbrained
>>
>>733001164
What they did to the controller buttons colours should be a crime. Colour coded ABXY were awesome on my PAL SNES.
>>
>>733002117
That's because you're gay and you need rainbow color everywhere for representation
>>
>>733001854
>>733002181
And the bisexual millennial colors are any better?
>>
Removing the colored buttons was especially egregious since the pack in launch game SMW was color themed around them. This was completely lost on American players.
>>
because americans are fucking stupid. how many times are you going to ask this question?
>>
>>733002252
Yeah you would know that color wouldn't you faggot

It does look like a kids toy. Burger children may not care about it nowadays but they certainly did in the 90s. Purple was actually a great choice for looking "cool" and still keep some personality.
Remember, pic rel was the competition. Nintendo could probably have made a more "serious" design while keeping the colors, but they wisely played it safe.

I'm trans btw.
>>
>>733003153
There was a time when purple was seen as cool, instead of a "millennial bisexual color".
If you're not willing to understand the mentality of the time, why are you even here?
>>
>>733001164
The console is a weird change but the purple controller is SOVL
>>
>>733001854
>this is the thought process that led to mutt game covers
Amazing.

The JP/EU SNES looks like a fucking answering machine
>>
It doesn't matter you just hate Americans. If they got the rainbow you'd call them fags for needing fisher price colours, and the subtle beautiful purples perfect complement the lightly grey body of the system, or something retarded like that.
>>
>>733003531
nah, donatello was always the faggiest turtle
>>
>>733002181
You're a retard. It's easier to match the colour on the display with the button, instead of trying to find which one is the "B" button. Especially since Nintendo has them in the wrong order.
>>
>>733004094
Can confirm
>>
>>733001164
Americans are faggots
>>
>>733001164
looks good man
