Welp, it's clear my tournament didn't go as well as i would have hoped. Still i wanted to thank the people that gave it a chance and participated. And since the tournament never quite "finished", at least not that i was able to see...i'll be doing that fanart for all four team captains of the participants. Since i remember Tomoka was highest on the scoreboard i did theirs first, but i'll be working on the next three in the coming days, though i don't know when they'll be finished.

Focus battles are meant to force the RPG layer but that RPG layer literally doesn't matter because 1.5 archetypes will ALWAYS win it.It's also why scrambles are so lackluster when somebody can just focus field the ball back one second later. Bond can't even attempt to run it's game because it has no protections against it's bonuses being zero'd out when forced into the primary gameplay layer against teams with much higher attribute advantages.
