Also, I love how now we have two Silent Hill titles about to misunderstand the whole point. One was a girl dealing with sexism. The other is some protestor dealing with retarded guilt of some sort. Neither of these are average people dealing with the hardships of every day life and tackling universal things like guilt and depression. The thing about the first four protagonists is that they are all very average and what they deal with is universal traumas that the game doesn't go out of its way to spell out for you. Really, outside of visual storytelling it's rarely brought up at all. Now the SH series has all the subtlety of a brick going through a window and tackles very specific things to half or less than 1% of the population.
