I think they were planning to have Romeo's helmet change often or be customizable, the achievements show so many concept arts of helmets

Phantasm was an interesting psycho since despite manifesting superpowers during the Civil War, he was unable to turn the tide in favor of the Confederates due to being just one guy. So he spends like a 100 years creating over a dozen different armies (criminal organizations) in pursuit of victory and violence only to be defeated by a single man himself.

With movies from what I get a studio can survive 4 or 5 bombs if they hit it big with one movie every year but grasshopper doesnt even have the rights to many of their games, I dont think they saw any money from the lollipop remaster for example.
>>733242065No, they weren't involved with LC RePop at all and Dragami has full rights on it. I'm genuinely worried about the NetEase stuff. They keep brushing it off as weird speculation, but PinCool is already finding a new owner. Why would they have to shop around publishers for Romeo when NetEase published the Shadows of the Damned Remaster?I suspect that other release this year is a small game to just get out the door and help generate some cash. Fortunately, Japanese dev costs aren't ridiculous, but I don't want them to spiral into smaller and smaller games, kind of like what is happening with NIS.

>>733244792Really? It’s hard to imagine EA letting any ip go.
>>733244792Yet they are the publishers, how does this work?
>>733245007>>7332452241) Front facing store listings are not always accurate. The eShop and Steam list PinCool as the publisher for Pritto Prisoner, but it's actually a company called Initiate Gameshttps://finance.yahoo.com/news/pincool-announces-pritto-prisoner-outrageous-185600426.html2) IP ownership is not publishing is not developing. The other anon might be right that Grasshopper is bringing home most of the money as the publisher, but NetEase has control over what happens next barring some rights transfer in the background (entirely possible). Sometimes companies who own IP license them out to other publishers. Bayonetta is a famous example. Owned by Sega, published by Nintendo. Grasshopper has always owned the Shadows of the Damned IP and it's in the reveal trailer. That was part of EA's creators program. Devs got to keep IPs, but EA got publisher rights (and the bulk of the money) for 10 years. After that expired Grasshopper was able to do the Remaster and whatever they wanted with that entry, but also why they were able to do Damned Dark Knight in TSA.

>>733268245I was more fixated on the opposite problem that the direction and grammar are extremely stilted and autistic like in NMH3. Suda got in with the wrong people and now his games sound like a fucking Animax English dub.
>>733227868Personally I think a Suda51/GHM + Douman Seiman would work better
>>733268245>>733268435>>733268842>>733269034All localization is by James Mountain. He's been Grasshopper and Suda's designated guy for it ever since he localized The Silver Case in 2016. He's also Suda's interpreter for any english interviews. Did the narration voiceovers at the beginning of each chapter in Romeo. This game did however have a different voice director from from who they usually had for games like Killer7 and NMH.

>>733270480They're pitch black I can't see them until they're up my fucking ass.
just beat it on orange chocolate. it was great. one of suda's better games imothe after credits cutscene was some wild shit. no clue why they put that nonsense in there but I am all for it
>>733269771Yeah, he seems like a nice enough guy from the Grasshopper Directs and all and I appreciate him not shying away from some colorful language in TSC, but it also doesn't feel like he's improving a lot. Willing to chalk some of that up to him just having to work on a ton of stuff himself which is why some characters sound samey
>>733270601>click R3>hold R2>Keep clicking R3 anytime something diesI really just shoot through them. I've been splatted a few times, but it was before I realized I needed to take them seriously.
This has to be the most bullshit final boss suda has ever made wtf am I missing? It feels for like the final two levels his gf dumped him and he decided to make the most bullshit annoying fuck shit ever
>>733225610The wheel? Is this not avaliable on orange chocolate?
>>733233825That cant be real I mean it cant be
>>733225610It’s funny I got confused a few threads ago when someone mentioned that and I unknowingly replied ‘isn’t that in NMH3’? The wheel is not a feature in the above normal difficulties, definitely surprised me when I started over on normal and got that. Was really annoyed because I don’t want to get an extra advantage I want to beat the boss fair and square
>>733270769As soon as I saw that after credits shit I came here immediately with questions cause it felt like it just had completely nothing to do with what was just laid out in all the character epilogues Other anons telling me just an alt timeline was good enough for me
>>733254498Don't cry, Travis.
>>733272923>is that ONE troll attack? help me sudamanlet me help you out>shoots blue at youmove to the side, don't dodge. dodging causes you to stop for half a second and get hit>shoots exploding tetrahedrons at youshoot them down, they're really slow>melee range clock hands attackjump the first two then dodge to the left or right>spirit bombshoot the spirit bomb>chanelling a circle underneathrun away>teleports to the middle then channelsrun to the middle and stun>touhou attackrun a reasonable distance away, single dodge to the left or right just before the orange balls hit you
>>733273935>alt timelinedont think so it just takes place really far into the future. intergalactic naked (yakumo) makes romeo the new spacetime king and he eventually gets corrupted by the emerald flowsion (getter rays), then luna becomes his successor in the fbi and they do battles. it's a lot like the killer7 ending where kun lan and harman are still fighting way into the future. it ties into that note at the end of the game that says that time isn't a circle it's a sphere and that the only way to stop space-time singularities is to create a loop. so basically to stabilize spacetime they created a new loop where romeo plays the role of the king and luna plays the role of romeo. romeo is kinda getting manipulated by everyone the whole game. intergalactic naked was manipulating romeo with the nightmares and juliet was manipulating romeo and intergalactic naked. silversox was probably manipulating romeo into becoming the spacetime king as well
>>733274686The biggest complaint from me was most of the games bosses required aggression with some light defence. This boss was PURE defence. If you were running juggernaut the entire fight was basically "two punch and run away or else youll be stuck in a combo you can't escape from and die instantly" (her damage on orange without new game plus was insane, fully upgraded romeo and jugg)
>>733274686To be fair everyone online thinks its a bullshit final boss, troll attack aside. If the animation cancel for dodging was even half a second earlier it would of been fine. Then again, suda has a history of having ass final bosses.
>>733274840i just ran at him and stunlocked him with the greatsword
>>733274840I've beaten the game with all weapons so far and can confirm, despite the dodge and weave combo of the fists being the best thing to use against all bosses, its an ABSOLUTE hindrance when fighting the naked. You essentially have to play it as a turn based game.
the ost slapswhy the fuck is there no album yet?
>>733269763not badbut douman's design is kinda cartoony but might work if GHM makes a game around those designs, dont know if people will like itanother option is if suda and douman will make a manga
>>733213418>Mfw Fused Reanimated's boss theme Not gonna lie, he's the only boss I felt bad for. Sure, his means were heinous as fuck, but all he wanted to do was bring his children back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WicV4pD10hwMagrus is a close second, but he was hard carried by TheBlack's journalAlso, what the hell was up with the shadow figure in the training facility? I thought it was SilverSox, but it couldnt've been him. Since Romeo hears the car's engine a couple of seconds later and it was him. Plus, I don't know if I'm making shit up here, but I swear there was a door you could interact with but was locked in the boss' room. >>733215078Spazer/gauss cannon. Honestly, what's gonna carry you the most are your bastards. Freeze shot/TP bastards at max level are the way to go. You'll beat the boss like a pinata for a straight minute if you mix them up with a 3-stack of bloody summers.
vide gam
>>733275039i just booted it up with juggernaut and you can just mash heavies and bloody summer on him, i was only using 2/4 bastards as well
>>733275635>Spazer/gauss cannonwhich stats upgrade to prioritize?
>>733276156I'd say; >Damage>Blood amount>Bloody Summer>StaggerI placed stagger last because I don't think it really matters much if you're using the spazer. Your goal should be to get your bloody summer gauge up as soon as possible and dish out as much damage as you can. As for the Yggdrasil, pure damage. I never paid too much attention to the other 3 stats as I used my ranged weapons to bust enemy weakpoints. Also, if you wanna grind the currency, equip a couple of stealjob bastards at max level and grind the mall stage. You can farm epic seeds in the mall stage by sending your bastards out and hitting the save station. It'll refill your bastards/reset the mobs. Just make sure the stealjobs' beam hit different zombies, because you can only get 1 seed per mob.>>733274760There's a tokio letter that really got me to think about "which" grandpa Romeo had on his back. In the letter, Tokio mentions that the "real" Benjamin's got good intentions. Why did silversox "disable" grandpa until Romeo beat the boss in the training facility? Add on top the fact that Bluemountain was weary of Grandpa in a couple of conversations.
>>733277085thanks anoncurrently im maining the spear ever since i heard it has a quick bloody summer build up but not sure if the damage is better than the other weaponswill try out stealjobs once i get at least a 2nd copy for it, i keep getting the fucking poison ones
>>733277180I never gave the spear a try so I can't really comment on it, but I'm sure its just as serviceable. >Not sure if the damage is better than the other weaponsWhen in doubt, check the weapon stats in the upgrade menu. Just pick whatever you find comfortable. You're way ahead of the curve with all of the upgrades/mats you've stacked from your first play-through anyway>t. Somebody who beat the game on bitter on his first run.As for the bastard situation, just focus on leveling up your stealjobs' to lvl. 100 across the field. you'll get a handful of epic seeds that range between lvl 30 - 40, so you can use them as fodder to level up your main bastards and/or sell them for 800 coins each.
>>733277085I think it's as simple as benjamin is romeo. he saves his past self which causes paradoxes and fractures the space time. and because his past self is a dead man the only way he can exist is as a weird hologram. and he disappears in chapter 8 because a new future emerges for romeo where he becomes JEH 2.
>start last chapter>mfw I guess this is it for me

>>733268245There is no localization, it's only in English, not a weeb but i can't stand American voice acting, i think it's from the school of voice acting that was slapped on Yakuza, it wasn't jarring in NMH cause the travis VA has an iconic voice
>>733283005it's in the key items the rest of the game. It's also on the jacket with other pins.
