I kept stacking +appeal shit in my attic and + comfort/stimulation in my "real" room and I noticed even without trying slowly my cats started inheriting much better base stats (right now the average cat has a bunch of 6s, maybe one or two 7s if lucky and one 5 or two, should I start prioritizing +mutation items now, especially since I unlocked an extra room?So far only have a fucked up bird that has +1 mut and -1 health, but at least the health shit evens out with a +1 health lemon.Should I just have a "breeding room" and then a "mutation room"?

I think maybe it took too long to get going, but the combat is getting really interesting now, the cat breeding is open up and actually means something, and I'm starting to get a taste of how big the game really is (so many items and items are how you get powerful in this game).I'm sad that my trusty frying pan has now broke though.
