The goal of nu-CRYSTAL DYNAMICS is to hijack the iconography and memory of the original games and warp them into their own mockery. Although it looks like classic tomb raider on the surface, you can expect dumbed down baby game design full of yellow paint and an overly sentimental "tomb conservationist" Lara. Their philosophy and plan is on plain display just from the fact that they included nu-Lara's gay little necklace on the new design. It is a big "fuck you!" to the fans of the classic games, it is a raping of the original work and a declaration that the American/Crystal Dynamics version is the ONLY valid version, but plausibly deniable enough to be disregarded by casual fans of TR or the general public.The idea is to shut down any possible criticism of their shitty nu-raider creations by making people forget what the original work was ACTUALLY like. "What are you complaining about? The games have always been this way!"
