>Is it such an insanely hot take to say [Highguard] didn't deserve to be dragged through the mud after one trailer? The irony is that this didn't even happen. Most people couldn't care less about Highguard one way or the other. They joked that it was "Concord 2" and then moved on with their lives. Nothing about that was toxic or mean, it's literally just how the Internet works.
Receiving criticism and being trolled is part and parcel of having an online presence which these retards are willfully doing by purchasing advertising on 4chan and living on social media. I don’t cry for the woman who was “raped” after choosing to hang around sexually-motivated people while drinking.
I think using Titanfall to highlight their game was a huge mistake. Games don't want a game made by "some of the people who worked on Titanfall", they want Titanfall 3.
Soulless corporate products on this level are very easy to spot, even the biggest goyim cattle can see them for what they are. These "games" aren't even made for an audience that exists.
>>733611349all wokeflops deserve to be dragged through the mud if only for being wokeflops in the first place. thankfully gaming is healing and the woke mindvirus infection is becoming less and less prevalent
>The irony is that this didn't even happen>trying to memory hole the weeks of nonstop Highguard threads on this board

Why are you people so eager to have spent weeks on end making constantly daily Highguard threads and obsessing in the replies of every Geoff/TGA tweet and making scores of videos of commentary with only a couple minutes of footage to go off of, but suddenly become real ashamed when people point out that it happened?
>>733611349I don't know what highguard is nor care to. Are you trying to shill or what
It looked like a generic live-service game. Those games are risky by default because you need a critical mass of players immediately. It sounds like the studio was inundated by ego and toxic positivity. Even studios that make great games are constantly worrying about everything up until launch. They don't think to themselves "this is a huge hit". The fact that they thought this shows out of touch they really were, and thus they act in complete shock when the public sees it for the middling product it was.
>>733611349I wonder why they are buying positive reviews right now. Copy paste accounts from Thailand are just spamming them
>>733611349Them blaming the response to the trailer is ignoring the fact that they got 100K concurrent players at launch. Despite what most people thought about how clearly it was going to fail from the outset it got more than a fair go going off the player counts, and not being able to retain the players is the fault of the game itself. That so many people even gave it a chance at all is already baffling.
