psx is the internal name because just playstation is the one they had with nintendo and got scrappedand the consumer name was just playstation, because most people didn't know about that affairso it's playstation/psx, playstation 2/ps2, there was never ps1
God I miss my PS1 but my discs are probably undergoing rot in some bullshit somewhere under my brother's watch. I know my PS2 works but the disc drive no longer reads worth a damn and my old Dualshock is long missing.I hear modding the PS2 is shockingly easy nowadays, what about the PS1?
