I do not understand why they are trying to make this into a franchise so fucking badly. It was a mediocre open world game that got a sequel. Why does it have to have lego spinoffs, gacha collabs, a live service spin off, a movie and god knows what else? I think it was originally planned as a trilogy, just finish the fucking trilogy first before you think about expanding it into other genres.

You get dumped into a map, your obj is a purple icon so you just do random shit on the way till you reach the purple icon, there's a storm etc etc The second mode puts you in the cauldron with waves of enemies and platforming not that much different but I actually like the cauldron gameplay it had unique lasers and traps you had to dodge while fighting enemies and the platforming was fun.

I played it. It's kind of whatever? The biggest problem for me is that the movement feels really weird and janky, exacerbated by the simplistic platforming in the cauldron levels. The characters don't feel good to maneuver in that way. Also shocked that the character that looked the most fun to play (black guy with a bow) actually feels awful. Dude with the hammer is the only kind of fun one.Final thoughts is that this is basically if Nightreign was shit. I'd give it a 2/10.
