Look at the way the shadow from the tall tower steps in increments. It's very ugly. This isn't an MMO, it's unacceptable.
The NPCs seem to light properly depending on the light source and angle, but they do not cast shadows properly, and its even more noticeable at night time. Furthermore, the torch at night time does not cast a dynamic shadow, and you see a static black blob on the floor, which looks very ugly. You can also see the lighting bug out at the top during nighttime, where it's flickering quite heavily. Also, during night time, when the NPCs that *do* move (most just stand there all day, exactly like BDO), you can see a long trail of purple ghosting. But somehow this is not using any AI upscaling and is native 4k... And given that this is on ultra settings, this is really bad. I can only imagine how bad it looks on medium and even low.
