Marrying Rosalinde also forms an alliance with the elves, so now (You)r kingdom essentially includes both the people to the east and to the south. And Rosalinde will worship (You) because you gave her a kingdom, which is what she wanted. And this will also make (You)r kingdom have a much higher longevity, because (You)r kids are half elves and live a long time. You also get to help half elves like Ridiel be less stigmatized, because the presiding Kingdom will have a half elf children.
