I've heard people say in these threads that chapter 7 is a good point to start exploring wherever. I just unlocked the camp and freed the guy in the asylum. Should I just power through those boring camp quests for a bit?

Is there any way to have "manual" shooting mode activated by default? The autoaim is carcigenic and it's stupid as fuck that it resets and that I have to press Tab for every arrow I want to shoot.
