I mean they were clearly struggling considering how low quality the games have been since the move to 3D, but at least the games could come out consistently unlike Nintendo's other IP which are lucky to get 1 game every decade or two. The total loss of ability of Nintendo to make games regularly anymore is genuinely a tragedy. I hope the delay to 2027 will at least mean the quality will be a lot better than previous games, but that's probably too optimistic.
