Denuvo is about to kill hypervisor method!
>>736082616They should force you to run an AI tha constantly checks if you are bypassing

Modern video games aren't worth my time.
>>736082616>Irdeto>warning the new cracks are a security concern
TWO MORE WEEKSPLEASE DON'T SUE US FOR SELLING YOU AN EASILY DEFEATED SCAM DRM
>>736082696Yeah, they should simply record and analyze all your activity on your PC while denuvo is installed on it, just in case.
Based. I hope the new Denuvo turns piracy impossible that way, we can usher the last part of you will own nothing.

i just want to buy the games i like without shit that makes it worse
>>736082616So now instead of denuvo making you lose 10% fps it'll make you lose 20%!Wow! So great for the consumers!Good thing I don't buy any square, crapcom, sega garbage.

>>736084973Looks like open-world slog that was put into a blender with other modern cancer like tears of the kingdom and rdr2, hard pass
>>736084336there's finally total denuvo death and there might be singular amount of games one would actually want to play. the only game i actually want to try is marvel midnight suns and maybe WRC. why not's are CIV 7, SW outlaws and stellar blade, but neither of those three are something to care about. i'm actually a bit shocked how little worthwhile stuff there is.
>>736082616great now pragmata is going to stay forever uncracked
>>736086130Total Pedophile Death.
>>736086690ok pedo
>>736082616How would they theoretically do that? Make denuvo a kernel driver? yay
>>736084336Not really. I wouldn't call any of the denuvo protected games great. I personally liked Code Vein, Atomic Heart and MH Rise but that's just my preference.
>>736084336A pro DRM group did a sales study and they concluded the average sales decay for the vast majority of titles is 12 weeks. Basically the results proved that there is no longer value to the company to retain DRM after 12 weeks. By their own stats In first 12 weeks weeks the existence of DRM does actually improve sales performance by preventing piracy. After 12 weeks it no longer works at preserving sales.
>>736082616How good the hypervisor cracks are? I still haven't tried yet.
I don't download hypervisor cracks but I'm glad it's making Denuvo execs have a meltyGame Companies are probably pissed pirateGODS are enjoying the latest AAA sloppa unbothered kek

>>736084336The new Shinobi game is fun
>>736087865The arguement is that your gaming machine shouldn't have anything important on it anyways. It should be purely for gaming and your business and personal computers house the important stuff.Essentially don't buy games but spend $4000 more on computers.
>>736087865>>736087993>t. easy anticheat user
Zero good games have Denuvo.
>>736082616so does the "bypass hypervisor on PC2 and transfer game to PC1" method work or not
>>736087619Conflict of interest aside, I mention it because to think their results are probably credible. It is interesting to me to note that these group coax companies into paying for a service for several years by their own admission no longer works after 3 months.
>>736088229Digimon SMT edition is a good game. But that's like the single one of note.
>>736082616they forgot the most important step though make a denuvo game that I actually want to play
>>736087527>>736087619The point is that even the pro-DRM group, the group that might have every reason to stretch its qualities to more than they are, found it doesn't make a different to sales after 12 weeks. Most games that use Denuvo keep it for far longer than 12 weeks. Even the pro-DRM study finds that most games keep Denuvo for far longer than they need to.

>>736082616>Pirates were so desperate to play bottom of the barrel garbage games that they ruin gaming for everyone elseIt's kind of poetic, actually.
Will denovo be dead if hypervisor bypass continues? Why would anyone pay them? I don't really care as denovo games are usually shit. The recent cracks/bypasses made me realize how much I didn't care for any of them. But if they go out of business, that would be funny.
>>736088985They will just pay crackers off or actually have them assassinated/framed if it becomes a threat to their business
>>736082616It can't be fixed unless they make us install denuvo in the HV as well. The only solution is stop supporting hardware token activation.
>>736082616I think its pretty stupid to think this hack would come out and Denuvo wouldn't immediately get on trying to fix it for their next release
>>736084336>What exactly does denuvo protect? Lost sales? The imaginary lost sales the shareholder thinks will happen when the teenager from venezuela with a yearly income of $100 dollars (he's from a rich family) won't be able to pirate the game and will then definitely buy it for $70+tip
>>736089228its impossible to prevent it, they're just trying to sound confident while they're selling off their company shares before their value plummets
>>736087993>It should be purely for gaming and your business and personal computers house the important stuff.Maybe this is even worse though. May make you less aware of the risk due to a false sense of security. Because you have to download the games. So you either have your gaming PC connected to your home network or you have to use a usb to get the games on there. Both of which exposes your other devices. I wonder if it would be safe if you made sure that your gaming pc is never connected to the network while any other device in your home is or maybe if you have a second internet connection?
>>736089590Just don't install anything obviously suspicious while your security is down. Anti virus and online guard shits will still be up anyway. Your PC just won't stop you from installing anything that isn't corpo approved anymore if you choose to ignore the warnings. This isn't some movie hacker shit where installing the bypass gives a guy in with a sunglass and raincoat access to your computer just by speed typing.
>>736089571They can sprinkle multiple checks during the game execution:-Are there crack related files or registry entries around?-Is the game running in a virtualized environment?-Is every item in the laundry list of security features required by the hypervisor crack disabled?
>>736089228They would need acesss to such a basic layer that I’m doubting Microsoft is willing to give it to them unless they form a partnership. And even then what? gonna be interesting what they’ll come up with but it sounds like something they would write to save face.
>>736090748They already tried sprinkling multiple checks with the megaman release which some anons thought was working but it didn’t work of course.
>>736090516>This isn't some movie hacker shit where installing the bypass gives a guy in with a sunglass and raincoat access to your computer just by speed typing.Indeed, in real life those are zero-click attacks and require no user intervention :P
Y'know, the real loss that Denuvo suffered was the aura of invincibility.
>>736089228Never underestimate third worlders and their eternal inferiority complex towards the first world. They HAVE to brag about it everywhere to "own the paypigs" instead of just keeping their heads down and playing games. >>736088949So anon was right denuvo has 0 good games.
>>736090516>Just don't install anything suspicious while in Hypervisor, like pirated gamesReminder that FitGirl changed xer/xem's mind within a week of saying it was dogshit by the way
I beat RE9, and it was worse than 7, 8, and 4 Remake. I beat Stellar Blade and it was just two boring giant open world desert zones. I beat Doom Dark Ages and it was very repetitive monster arenas and worse than Eternal in every way. Monster Hunter Stories 3 was open world grindslop 1 hour in.It's not even worth disabling your PC security to play this shit, that's the biggest defense that Denuvo has against HV.
>>736090969My favorite is calling random people at the place and telling them I'm IT and need their username and password to check something. Zero hacks needed, just a phone call and I can get in.
Black Myth, RE9 and Stellar Blade are the only 3 games that has Denuvo I want to play. But I'm not desperate enough to install this Hypervisor shit
retard here, why cant pirates use this hypervisor thingy to recompile the game without denuvo?

I don't care. My job is to mail all publishers and companies that they should stop using denuvo and post proof that their shitty game are all cracked. Claming some shit about early sales make you look a snake oil salesman. You're are pathetic. Your company shouldn't exist.
day 0 hv cracks on the menusimple as
does this mean publishers will stop putting denuvo in their games?
>>736098652yesit means nobody will use denuvo why even when you can slap your own DRM and be done with itthey're fucking useless and make the game worse

>>736085271Nah mate, you'll need to submit a blood sample to start your pc.
RE9 got day 0 cracked and Capcom is retarded. MH Wilds a game released in 2015 still has this utter dogshit DRM and the is hv bypassed too. What the fuck are they paying for again I don't get it.

>>736089160They can go the way of Windows 11 requiring TPM 2.0 in processors. That would be checkmate.
>>736084336>Is there any game that uses denuvo that is worth my time?Persona 5. I found Stellar Blade pretty decent so that, too. Maybe Crimson Desert if you want a single player MMO but that's a pretty shitty genre tbdesu.>What exactly does denuvo protect? Lost sales? It gives the publisher peace of mind that their vidya won't be pirated. In practice that's all it does. A bunch of jap devs only started doing PC ports after Denuvo was a thing because old japs have this belief that 99% of PC players would just pirate everything. There was an EU study about how piracy doesn't affect game sales but big vidya didn't like that result so it got shoah'd(big surprise).
>>736087434>I don't download hypervisor cracks but I'm glad it's making Denuvo execs have a meltyBased. That's the right mindset.
>>736082616Lmfao, and when it takes performance even harder and it still isnt enough, what then? You arent going to win this shit. Focus on making good games instead of ruining the experience for the people that actually pay for it in a vain hope that a pirate will buy the slop.I cant stress this enough. There are effectively infinite games right now. All vidya could stop being produced eight now and you still couldnt get through it all in a life time. Even if you block a pirate, hes not going to buy your shit because he has a gorillian other games he can play RIGHT NOW instead.
>>736104394>about how piracy doesn't affect game sales but big vidya didn't like that result so it got shoah'd(big surprise).Vidya is like Hollywood. What matters most is always initial sales. Everything afterward barely matters unless its overwhelming. It's how you get games that never have sequels even if it did well over its lifetime, but because the early launch window sales were poor the execs still see it as a risk
>>736103952the main question should be why do you keep sucking DRM cocks and paying for it? You must be special tier of retarded.
>>736104750Sounds like the execs and shareholders should stop being retarded then, huh?

Like you lose a few investors from hurt feefees, who fucking cares. You make a good game, it sells, and then anyone on board now knows to shut the fuck up and let people that actually know what they are doing continue to lead.
>>736103952got plenty of monies but none that Denuvo gets

>>736104987Yes, thats what Im getting at. That the idea of "DURRRR THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS INITIAL SALES HURRRRR" is fucking retarded and outdated, and the data shows this. Yes, there is context and the genre matters, but literally just slap the retarded investor with raw data and tell them to shut their fucking mouth. Its that easy.
>>736105041Money. These are the people who pay their way in and go, "no, fuck you, I own this % of the entire company, my opinion and votes beat yours!"
>>736105143It's only outdated in the context of freemium games which are not the same as your usual buy it game and nothing else. In the end it's the same old multiplayer vs singleplayer battle in a new form.
>>736084336>What exactly does denuvo protect? Lost sales? To appease shareholders against a perceived threat that is in actuality a complete non-issue. So these companies spend money to get zero benefit and make a functionality worse product as a result.
>>736105132they won't be around much longer lil tardboyafter this HV crack dilemma RAPING them on such a brutal basis there is no recovery from thisyou get any denuvo game cracked day 0 meaning pirates have the full game available to them before that shit even releases worldwide
What's a game that released in the past few years that sold gangbusters and had no DRM? If it sold at a full $60/$70, even better.

You dont need 15 retards trying to tell you what to do. If they wont capitulate when LITERAL HARD DATA says they are wrong, they arent even worth having there.Fuck, you could probably make an announcement saying "hey gamers we lost an investor because he wanted to co-opt the game with stupid bullshit and we would rather deliver a good game instead, pls send donations if you can", youd probably get an avalanche of people giving you money just because people WANT to support a company that has integrity and prioritizes the game over soulless corpo shit. This retarded system perpetuates because everyone wants to suck the cock of investors when just being clear and telling them that there place is a walking wallet and nothing else would solve the issue and right the industry.

>>736111872It's a waste of time. Whoever wrote this has a fundamental misunderstanding of how the HV method even works. You can only get a token with a purchased game, period. The HV is just simulating an environment a purchased game ran once (submitted a ticket and got a token), and thus have a valid token.
>>736112307By people who know the extent of hypervisor access? It's not safe by design to allow anyone that access

Hypervision is literally you switching off any protection on your pc and allowing 3rd party add-ons to run in the background. You have to be a specialist in retardation to be ok with root kits running on your pc in the background just because you want to play a Denuvo game. Then your also giving access to your pc to any outside source. It's a fucking weird, impossibly huge, overdesigned rootkit. So of course, to defeat it, you need to install another rootkit. But in that case, if you trust the second rootkit better than you trust Denuvo, it's harmless, you again defeat the first rootkit by using the second rootkit. It's just in how much you trust the second rootkit.I mean, you obviously have no issues with rootkits, seeing that you have already installed Denuvo.

People pirate games because it's convenient, not because they REALLY want to play that one particular game. There is simply too much competition on the market. If it was only 2 mega-corpos with no indie market then maybe, we could see duopoly cartel controlling all vidya. Not happening any time soon.
The only thing publishers can do to prevent puracy is just not to port their games to PC.Emulation for modern consoles still has a long way to go.
>>736122227Just casually preventing piracy while losing hundreds of thousands/millions of sales. I wonder if that might be counterproductive, Shlomo.
>>736122227>incentivizes console hackingwow
>>736122047>People pirate games because it's convenient, not because they REALLY want to play that one particular game. This is the level of weak psyop hyperjeets think works on 4chan
>>736122362Shalom, rabbi. How's the bomb shelter?
>>736121623>You can update pirated gamesONLY if an update torrent is out. So much for "convenience" eh? You would know this if you pirated games, let alone played any.
>>736122406Outstanding argument, hypershill.
>>736122362The bigger psyop is people like you accusing everyone who pirates to be poor. I've pirated and have spent $4000 on PC games in the last 20 years. That doesn't include my physical collection across 3 gens.
>>736122362Anon, I hope you are baiting the shit out of me right now.You have open access to the whole library of gaming at your finger tips. But for some unknown reason you HAVE TO play the newest $70 AAA game, you simply cannot play anything else. Your life depends on it!I just can't stop laughing right now.
>>736122507You will get killed by an Iranian missile, lol. You will die screaming like God intended for all christkillers.
Other than certain special cases like Paradox games and The Sims 4, piracy is pretty unnecessary for anyone with patience. You can get any game on the grey market for <$10.
>>736122624Consider this.Publishers refuse to release demos or shareware.People who buy cheap games on sales rarely play them. What is the point of paying for those game if you can't even get rid of them?>inb4 family share on $team
>>736122510>>736122528>rummaging through repack/torrent sites and checking which version of a game is available and hoping there are still enough seeders is more convenient than just pressing buy/download on steamNice try, shills. No one on 4chan is buying your psyop.
The hypervisor workaround just basically ensures we will never get real cracks again. It's like when some faggot uploads an MTL doujin to exhentai.
>>736084149ManU legend!
>>736122553So you admit you're a hacker?
>>736122835I haven't bought a single new game since RE2 remake in 2018, don't ask me bro
>>736122862>shillsJust be good paypiggie, I don't care. You can always come up with an excuse. Why are you pretending to be so stupid Anon? Are (You)s really worth that much?
