"Popular" is a strong word since those are very slow threads, they're just sub-communities. It's largely the same posters but they managed to build a following in the board. There's lots of games like that. Mewgenics, uma, deltarune, limbus, coffin, BA, deadlock, marathon, etc.

yugioh is still a massive franchise even though everyone acts like it's dead, it has like 5-8 generals across the entire site and i think it could unironically sustain a board (a very slow board) on its own
in my opinion the appeal of yugioh is that it has something for pretty much anyone, and it blends together in a way that feels seamless, it's also the only cardgame that isn't a shitty mtg clone like HS or modern MTG
i wouldn't exactly say that inazuma eleven is popular but it does seem more popular here than it realistically should be i guess
