This is Bubble Hole from the videogame Bomberman Hero on the Nintendo 64. Its also the site of my first existential crisis. When I was just a small child, I was playing through the game trying to perfect the scores on every level. I was going through the Bubble Hole when I had messed up a jump and fell into a bottomless pit. I had died plenty of times in this game and it was no big deal, but for some reason watching Bomberman die in this instance made the realization that I too would one day die hit my brain like a speeding truck. Nobody lives forever, and that included me. I cried a little bit that night trying to sleep. Bomberman Hero made a small child painfully aware of his own mortality.

I think my mom rented this game for me way back when I was kid cause Bomberman kinda looks like Megaman or maybe she played the arcade games (apparently she was an Asteroid queen lol)
All I remember is a bit of the first level and its comfy ass music.

Honestly I should go back and actually play it. Tangentially related but I had that song stuck in my head as a kid before finally finding it again during computer class where I found this site filled with vidya osts.
