just got damiane back at the end of chapter 8 and I STILL feel like I don't know what I'm doing in terms of combat. I got a lot less interested in exploring when I realized that 99% of the exploration is just skill points and teleports and then there is basically one set of unique armor a maybe 2 weapons per region and it's cosmetic outside of the abyss gear you can get.It would have been better if the skill points weren't an infinite resource you could grind. I was really just doing puzzles because they are neat and I liked doing them not for any meaningful reward. The abyss was the best part of the game because it was just almost all puzzles and platforming.
