Time spent thinking about game mechanics and the profound feelings I feel in completing a single player game I really liked spark more meaningful thoughts and memories and variety of moods and lasting experiences of consciousness as do the conversations I can have with friends (been a long time since I had that, miss it) while in complete mental clarityt than mindless drinking and listening to people's miserable mundane life experiences or partying where I only ever felt good about it becaus I pushed myself to do it, but the experience itself wan't very fulfilling. Plus it leads to shit like drinking when you're alone and filling it with other shit as you said like scrolling.
