A bunch of algorithms figure this shit out, sort of like a looking-glass. they then take a risk based on other factors, and investors have to be impressed enough to put money into it. everything goes down from there. Capcom probably saw the number of single aging males looking for that itch to scratch their need to take care of a child, as well as the perverts that would be attracted to this thing. Japan is especially filled with that market share. The board approved it, the stockholders approved it, and if this ends up being a successful trend after this game, you will likely see other companies dip their toes in. guys like Larry Fink I think pulled back all of their loan programs, so they are going to have to switch up the market to keep up infinite growth.
