Their mere existence is IP infringement and Blizzard is entirely within their rights to do something about it. There are exceptions like EQ1 and City of Heroes private servers which got tacit approval of the original publishers, but those situations are entirely different due to their own circumstances.

i was paying for a sub for legion remix (the tail end of it) + played midnight for a month and retail is definitely enjoyable but it's not something that you can play over a long period of time because of the CONSTANT fomo it feeds you. it forces you to get burnt out and unsub for a while, come back, rinse, repeat. now imagine this buy 200 on sweaty private servers like this. there is only a fraction of the content too, so it's even more of a headache for nothing. at least turtlefags can take solace in knowing the chinese version of the server isn't going away any time soon. just like warmane.
