I've been testing my ability at the game again since I figure I bought it, I might as well finish it, but I can't seem to get the back jump slash quite yet. Is it a timing thing? I jump forward and then hold back and hit attack and nothing changes. I did it once by accident (Jump forwards and then slash backwards in a full 180) and I can't seem to do it on purpose.

I tried the demo and I was right, this pretty much is Prince of Persia but without the rewind mechanic to save you from a bad jump. Cause I assumed it would turn into a shitty Souls clone boss fight. But then it ended up being Shadow Of The Colossus, and implements the game's parkour pretty well. Idk if the full game somehow has worse controls than the demo cause everyone says it's janky af, but the demo felt fine for me. I think the angle detection for whether a wallrun is vertical or horizontal is a bit biased towards horizontal which can suck, but otherwise it feels fine. I like the camera zooming out during certain sections too.

I've just reached a part of the area where you learn how to hack. It's after a big gauntlet run where you have to hack and slice disc shooters in mid air and then leads a platform that travels horizontally. I'm being barricaded off by several steel girders in front and there's no way to get over the barricade before the platform is too far ahead to catch it and I can't seem to slip through what I thought was the parkour hole. I'm actually not sure how to progress at this point.
