It's all a funny haha meme but the problem is that the typical consolefag encountered in the wild (no doubt occupied with shitting in the bushes and wiping with their hand) does not realize two things:1. Consolefags are unfortunately retarded and their games always pander to the lowest common denominator - this was less universal before 2005 but still applicable to some at the time, now it's 100% undisputable fact.2. Designing games for consoles limits you to a very low amount of options for inputs/buttons and this, also being completely factual, means that the game will be gimped, extremely boring and repeatable to anyone with IQ >100. This is sadly still true even with the haptic pads and other things that Steam has introduced.So if you've ever asked yourself, why is gaming so shit and pandering to the lowest common denominator and everything went so wrong after 2005 that we've completely abandoned standards - the answer is consoles.
