Play the Batman games as he has the "no kill" rule, so technically you don't kill anyone

I was playing slave porn game and dropped it after the game were forcing me to create fighting slaves and they were begging me to not make them fighting slaves

I dropped mewgenics because I felt bad for the decroded cats

it feels way better in real life

I LOVE killing literally every single NPC in every single game I have ever played or still play, or will play
>>
>>740589042
do you like halo
>>
>>740589042
when i was a kid i would go around killing every single npc and posing them. i hated games where killing a random npc would magically alert everyone for no reason whatsoever.
>>
>>740588286
No, I get it.

I don't like killing, hurting or being cruel or evil towards good or innocent people. Nor do I like committing crimes (in video games) besides vigilantism or aggravated assault against evil NPCs.I've never done Dark Side runs in either KOTOR game, and I've barely touched the GTA series because I hate being a criminal.

Same reason I don't watch crime, heist or gangster movies. Speaking of Star Wars, I've come to hate seeing the Rebels and New Republic win and the Empire lose, but that's a whole different thing.
>>
>Game has a morality mechanic

>>740588286
Not games but peoppe dying in movies always makes me upset, especially old action movies where the protag just mows down hordes of henchmen like it's nothing. That's a dude. He was a little boy once and had a family and shit
>>
>>740589119
Asking for a specific reason? I only played the first 30 minutes of Halo 1 and 2 in the Halo collection thing on Steam
>>740589176
I'm more of a fan of "cleaning the streets", as in I would go around killing NPCs and then I'd put their bodies away in like a river or in the sea
>>
>>740589184
With Star Wars I think the empire are obviously the bad guys, like the Sith are objectively evil. But I don’t like how we’re supposed to cheer for random stormtroopers getting killed, like they’re still people they’re probably just recruits doing their job they’re not individually evil
>>
this is me in extraction looters. if someone says "don't shoot im friendly" i usually let them be, but im always expecting to be backstabbed by a liar.

GTFO Elon Musk

>>

>Asking for a specific reason?
NTA but I assume he's talking about the unique feature in Halo where, if you kill your friendly NPCs, there's a radio announcement that goes "The player character has gone rogue" and now everyone's trying to kill you. It's a neat little thing, as opposed to automatically failing the player like in Call of Duty. But of course, you can't actually advance. They'll just send an infinite amount of NPCs after you until you inevitably die
>>
Why are most games violent anyway, life is very rarely violent
>>
>>740588286
>frog posting subhuman
try killing yourself irl
>>
>>740591372
Fulfilling, satisfying gameplay requires violence. Without violence, what is there to do in a game? Solve puzzles? Roleplay gay little slice of life scenarios? Even in games where you're not directly killing people, like strategy games or survival horror games, the premise still stipulates violence
>>
I can't tell if you guys are shitposting

>But I don’t like how we’re supposed to cheer for random stormtroopers getting killed, like they’re still people they’re probably just recruits doing their job they’re not individually evil

This. I don't like or support Palpatine, Tarkin or Vader, but most people in the Empire are just people trying to keep the galaxy safe and efficient. Maybe it's me being a post 9/11 Millennial, but my brain equates rebels to terrorists. I feel like most rebels aren't innocent people who minded their own business until the Empire murdered their family for literally no reason, but would be petty criminals, dumb college kids or other malcontents who arbitrarily hate the system because they got caught shoplifting when they were 12 and now scream "ACAB."
>>
>>740590770
No amount of NPC killing will make the pain of me beating you in an internet argument go away, Anon. Your butthurt will always be there.
>>
>>740592332
This would be the case if you only watched the original trilogy. That's why I think Andor is actually essential viewing. Because it shows the Empire as being so evil it makes your blood boil, and really reinforces how they MUST be toppled
>>
>>740592332
Afaik the mandalorian and andor shows how the empire really is

And I always play the most ruthless characters. I mean my 1st playthrough of Mass Effect was renegade Shepard with no romance and almost no sidequests, because you don't get distracted on a mission and as a SPECTRE you can't let emotions get in the way. And I liked it this way, I wish we had more of coldness in vidya.

The empire literally commits a planet-scale holocaust in the first Star Wars movie

Having said that, all the random recruits on board the death star weren’t all evil

Star Wars operates on a LOTR mentality of everyone on the bad side deserves to die

>>740591372
Humans are bloodlusting barbarians. Same reason we like action movies and ancient Roman’s enjoyed gladiatorial combat. We are evolutionary adapted to enjoy the sight of killing out enemies.
>>
>>740594982
>The empire literally commits a planet-scale holocaust in the first Star Wars movie
Yeah but that's such over-the-top fantasy villainy. Like blowing up the moon. And you can just say "oh, well that was Tarkin and Palpatine. It doesn't reflect the culture of the Empire as a whole". But in Andor, seeing the life of the average Imperial citizen is much more effective at making you viscerally hate the Empire and everything it stands for
>>
>>740594837
He who looks into the monster becomes an abyss himself. And Batman says that if you kill a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same. Even if the killer is a mass-murderer who wipes out children's theme parks with Joker gas and destroys cities with atomic bombs.
>>
>>740594572
OH MY FAUCI
>>
>>740588490
I feel like realistically there's no way batman hasn't accidentally killed people before when he smashes their heads like that, maybe he just pretends internal injuries aren't real. I would fear him.
>>
>>740588286
I kill europeans in games. They're not people.

I don't trust people who are goodie two-shoes in games. Games are for living in a way you don't in real life, so if your idea of that is being a good person, that's fucked.
