The setting being science fantasy is the single most generic and obvious thing in the world about these trailers. It doesn't make the setting any more appealing, you need to do something akin to Tower Dungeon at this point and blend transhumanism and sci-fi weirdness right into the middle of a fantasy setting and i doubt they are going for it given how utterly generic everything looks.The character designs are abhorrent overall. I have no issue with female leads in Xeno (even more so since the tanned guy is likely the male lead which means we're getting something akin to Trails in the Sky since he looks like an overpowered dark and brooding type) but she looks like a background statist from a modern fire emblem game.
