First playthrough everything goes. I will not go out of my way to google some cheese strategies, but if I find one myself, I will use that because I earned it through my own creativity and problem solving skills.On another playthrough I might want to challenge myself by trying to deliberately beating that same boss without the cheese I discovered. Then I might playthrougs were I choose a certain playstyle (a self emburdened class restriction so to speak) which I have to adhere to for every fight. No using magic as a warrior or greatswords as a rogue. However if I find that the games systems simply don't provide sufficient tools for a certain style, I will not do that. Being a pure Archer in Dark Souls is cancer.
