Warframe's gameplay is a lot more mobile with better melee and ability options. Destiny is basically Halo with a really nice paintjob. Destiny has better gunplay and PvP but Warframe is better almost everywhere else.

Because of that, there's a better sense of shared experiences that ties the community together.

Destiny did flop because Bungie could never make the numbers work, everyone knew that western salaries were rising but returns weren't becoming worth it. all it took was a single unseasonably mid expansion to kill the entire franchise (lightfall).
