Alright I finished the Chapter, I have a lot of feelings making this chapter hard to rate or judge in comparison to the other ones. The entire festival I was bitter they were pushing the Noelle shit so I decided to cuck her and enjoy my time with Susie at any given opportunity. Sadly I was forced to sit through that whole shore part. The general festival was fine, but for what it was built towards I expected a bit more than just fine honestly. Castle Town didnt have a lot of new things but I appreciate getting answers about the Shadow Crystals. Also Seam is totally ERAM this guy is not subtle in the slightest. The scene without Tenna was a bit depressing.Now onto the meat of it, The Garden, fantastic honestly. The Flowers are a mixed bag but none are outright bad, some of the gags at the cafe were funny, the fights themselves are hard (for Deltarune standards), Flowery and Aqua especially, the Omega sword move is harsh. The MegaMan Zero segments are fun, the 2D to 3D transitions are trippy but this is by far my favorite chapter gameplay gimmick, schizo boss this time isn't very lore heavy but that's a really fun fight, and Kris at least got someone to kiss him. Ralsei got much needed character development, such a shame he didn't interact with Asgore at all. Susie and the Flowers whenever they talked about Noelle made me turn away from the game. Everything about Asgore this chapter was good, except for the lack of a fight. General scenery and other NPC mobs, all good, the foxes got me with a few gags, the sun one especially. General final fight with Flowery was fantastic, I wish we had a proper MegaMan Zero boss fight before the rush Hyper Flowery. Ending was fine, not super novelty or shocking we all could see the Knight coming. overall I'd say, Chapter 4 > 2 > between 3 and 5 > 1Outside of the battle themes this chapter was a bit boring with the music, I expected more

I think this Susie behavior could have been predicted from chapter 4 based on her dialogue in the Gerson fightFor starters she doesn't see herself as being able to change fate, she thinks Kris can do it and that he has the metaphorical white pen. Then, when Gerson asks about an ending, she says she wants it to be forever, which is a red flag that she's gone off the deep end as far as escapism goes. She wants to stay in the fantasy forever, rejecting reality.I think something happened with Susie between chapters 4 and 5 that caused her to somehow lose her free will and to just go on rails with what fate laid for her, which is why the yuri shit feels so forced and why she did a 180.I have to believe Toby has something like this in mind, because if the surface level interpretation is to be believed it'd be a massive writing blunder I'm not sure how he could possibly make.
