The multiplayer is fun as fuck. I'm addicted. Gonna do one route a day so I don't finish the game too fast.
I really enjoyed it. I just finished 3 runs so I could see every level and then did a bunch of the challenges and some multiplayer as well. The gameplay, visuals and music are all top fucking notch. The N64 original still has a lot of charm but you'd have to be a moron to say that the presentation here is anything short of excellent, the lighting is phenomenal(especially if you have a good HDR display), the backgrounds particularly in the space levels are stunning, and the music made me cum. I even liked the character models I just thought they were funny. For the most part this is 99% the same timeless masterpiece of a game it always has been with a really nice looking fresh coat of paint and if you like the original I don't see how you wouldn't get a kick out of this.I know it's the biggest point of contention but I really didn't mind the new voice acting. There were definitely some lines that lacked emotion or just can't be replaced(the train conductor was the biggest loss for me personally) but if you play it from start to finish with all of the new cutscenes and dialogue they added in between it's not bad overall. I feel like it's a bit of a lose lose situation, the voice clips from the original are so iconic that I think people would be complaining no matter what they did whether it be trying to replicate the exact same deliveries or rewriting the script in it's entirety. I guess they could have just reused all the old voices but then you wouldn't get any of the new stuff which would be a shame because I really enjoy how much all the new cutscenes and dialogue flesh the story and world out. Idk for the most part I think it's fine if you can accept that it's trying to do something a little different instead of going in and taking certain lines out of context to compare with the original.This is genuinely one of the best remakes ever and for $50 it's a steal.

I played the hard route to see if I still got it. I still did BTW. Anyway, the game is still fun but the All Range Mode feels odd. Hard to explain but in Venom 2 I had a harder time killing Star Wolf than Andross which is certainly not the case with the original. Anyone else had this happened to them?

STAR FOX IS CONFIRMED TO BE A 10/10.Star Fox 2026 is a 10/10 experience. I was able to get a hang of the controls. The gameplay was so complex, that I was struggling to beat Andross for about 5-10 minutes until I figured out how to beat him and get better at dodging his attacks. The cutscenes are beautifully directed and very cinematic. The graphics are amazing for Nintendo standards, and I am very happy that they have caught up to current-generation graphics. I felt like I was watching an animated Star Fox movie with plenty of worthwhile gameplay segments. I want that for the next 3D Mario. I would watch an animated Star Fox movie with the character designs from this game, rather than the ones Illumination will use, unless I see the other characters first and decide that they look good. I am going to buy the Star Fox plushies. Back when I used to play Star Fox 1993 every so often, I always had a skill issue with getting past Corneria, and I barely touched Star Fox 64, but now, I have played Star Fox 2026 and I have become invested in the franchise. I wonder what the next Star Fox game will be. Can they adapt Star Fox 2? Or will we get Star Fox 3 instead? Can they take SNES Star Fox 2, and heavily modify the structure and levels, and call it Star Fox 2? Like how Star Fox 64 is Star Fox 1993, but different? I am very happy with how Star Fox turned out. Now that I have beaten Andross, I am going to take a break and go back to playing TomoDacHi Life: Living the Dream.
