I have like two physical PS5 games, I stopped caring about it as much when discs stopped actually saving you hard drive space. Only the Switch/2 has a point since they'll actually run the game off the cartridge and not clog your hard drive, but even Nintendo's doing that game keycard shit making a handful of their games just as pointless.

I have to agree. Havent had a CD - DVD drive as apart of my PC build for a decade and an external USB was always available but I downloaded ROMs anyways. People need to stop letting modern AAA get away with real issues like releasing unfinished games with the promise of continuous service or buying into Alpha / Beta then not finishing all the features. The reason why gacha is laughing at AAA is because even though it is gambling they still develop content non stop and fulfill the idea of live service games. Meanwhile get Cyberpunked or Battlefield tht takes half a year to fix. GTA6 being a buggy filled mess after leaving many features to AI incoming for example.
