'Nostalgia is nice but don't get stuck in it, change can be painful but necessary', Kris losing even more control over their life, that kinda thing.I think the intention is that the Weird Route happens after a 'successful' playthrough, in which 'nothing changed'. I feel like Kris has looped through it more than once, trying to find a way to 'save' Noelle (who is almost certainly going to go bugnuts insane if her dad died/got super hurt and she was too busy on her date to answer her phone - she might even blame Susie for throwing it away). Noelle has ALWAYS had the capacity for extreme violence (Snowgrave) and power in the Dark World. One powered by all the incredibly bad feeling in the Holliday home (or the hospital) with Noelle empowered by it is going to be an incredibly bad time for everybody involved. 'You can't even say stop like you used to' is pretty fucked up.On that note, 'I want that' is an incredible and incredibly dangerous piece of dialogue in such a 'fandom friendly' game. Pretty based.

It's kinda like innocence, I guess. Once it's gone, you can't get it back, which is why Asgore wasn't ever taken in by it.I do feel like that was the overarching narrative 'purpose' of CH5 (and Fox said it themselves): the happy adventures are over. Susie puts it reasonably correctly when she's saying 'this can't just be a fun little thing with us two, it's too serious, people are getting hurt, nothing can go back to the way it was' (except her solution is, naturally, totally wrong). I do 100% agree it's a much more raw look at the characters when they're pushed a little/not trying so hard to be 'nice'. Susie can be a callous jerk, Ralsei could burn it all down but doesn't want to for fear of what might happen instead, Noelle desperately wants to be free but can't do it herself, yadda yadda. It's good stuff.
