Ben Drowned was really fucking weird after the initial video drops. Didn’t even know about all the developments until I watched a video that broke down the whole thing but it’s kinda neat, though a bit funny because the entire time I kept thinking about that “going into games machine” guy.

I think Herobrine worked fairly well because of Minecraft’s emptiness at the time, it didn’t even have villagers and the world was infinite so there was the mystique of something else still being out there. I liked Ben Drowned the most though, cause the guy had all this gameplay footage. Plus there was that cleverbot side-plot which was neat to mess around with.

I genuinely can't stand any modern "creepypastas", rather than being the equivalent of a kid trying to spook you with his ghost story somehow every single one of these ends up being some sort of vent about muh trauma, muh religion, muh AIslop, muh depression and all that shit and the written ones are especially unbearable because their tone gets so whiny and preachy sometimes. And I frankly can't stand how frequently they use cheap shit like child abuse or child murder for cheap shock value.Also it gets comedic when kids praise "arg" shit for "oh my science it's le slowburn artistic horror without jumpscares!!!!" only for it to use loud noises and le scary visuals anyway.
