You can still game but you have to be smart about it and understand the time of thumb. That the baby is now the most important thing. Therefore if you want to still play vidya you must be able to drop it at a moment's notice for anything with your baby.
Became a father recently and there's a ton of work and no sleep with a newborn but even harder still is any vidya. Since you must be able to drop it at a moment's notice that means literally any and all online games are out of the question. Also no PC or console games either since you can't be glued to one spot. So pretty much the best option is using emulators on your phone. You can quick save at any time so you can easily drop it when the newborn needs feeding or changing or is crying or whatever and then when they're good you can quick load to get back into your game.

Well, I have a 5 year old nephew and, despite him being a crazy, electric, joyfull force, I always feel awkward around him.
