What is it about AI being used in game development that makes libs violently seethe and piss themselves? Most people wouldn't even notice if something used AI unless it was specifically pointed out to them anyways.
>>746665212good morning saar! please redeem the AI!
raw AI for visuals or other user-facing components are extremely easy to spotAI for the programming end is basically impossible to spot unless the person using it is outrageously negligent and incompetent and lets the codebase become an inefficient, buggy slop swamp, or the code is available publicly
It sucks OP. You too will realize it some day.
Millennials always need something to moralize about and grandstand over
cool another astroturfing threadhey guys buy my new product or else you're a hecking leftist communist tranny!
the new and easy way to virtue signal, literally all it is
>>746665568I agree, because ultimately I think AI (at least right now) isn't capable of replacing humans when it comes to the more creative side of game development but we're at a point now where game devs have their games boycotted and review bombed purely because five years ago they maybe thought about possibly considering to ask GPT how tall the Empire State building is. It's weird.
>>746665212They hate that a web browser can replace them in every field they've compromised, and cry about it at every possible opportunity.
>>746665212>people wouldn't notice unless they noticegood morning
doesn't even matter, the "anti AI war" is already over
>>746665212>plagiarist, black person: "Teehee dumb niggur">plagiarist, white conservative: "Ermmm...the future is now luddite!"
>>746666219t. clanker
>>746665212If it wasn't worth making, it isn't worth playing.
>>746666108Good. Use books instead of being a lazy hack using a slop machine.
>Another advertising thread>The """"AI""" was the publishers and devs haring a jeet scammer Fuck off. BUY AN AD
>>746666251The original luddites were 100% right that mass automation would destroy artisanship and the average worker's quality of life, by the way
>>746665568The whole thing is it's basically 1's and 0's and also code is abstract like math which is something AI unbelievably excels at. Programming has been a huge boom. I think negativity and moral grandstanding over tools is just stupid overall because the only thing that matters is the quality of the tool not if it's made by the tool or not.
>>746665568It's also very hard to detect in writing. And I don't mean actual retarded people who copy paste the output but people that actually rewrite what AI gave them.
>>746665212Cool, cool. Just remember to mark it as using AI as per Steam's TOS :)
>>746665568>AI for the programming end is basically impossible to spotIt's pretty obvious actually
>AI is literally just a search engine>Coping and seething
>>746666442Just letting you know Steam does not care if you use AI for programming, they only care if you use it for artistic purposes. That is in the TOS.
>>746665212Im no lib but its a tool for enshittification in a world where every product hit rock bottom in terms of quality. Moreover its purpose is cost cutting and timesaving, something that will never benefit the customer as prices will never ever lower. Also the way AI is pused is 1:1 how progressive politics were pushed during GG>Gamers are dead! The future is woke and your just going to have to deal with it!>What you dont want AIslop? Too fucking bad everyone is using it so get used to is or fuck off tranny!
>>746665212All they asked was a question.
>>746665212YOU DIDN'T MAKE THE GAME
>>746666531>PusedHello SAAAR.
>>746666402it's hard to detect in writing because you're an inexperienced writer. ai is used by people who think that they can dupe others in fields that they aren't experienced in. artists can detect ai art, programmers can detect ai code, and musicians can detect ai music.you think that you're clever by fooling people, but you outing yourself as a fraud
I thought advertising was against the rules but I guess it's okay if OP asked a ragebait question.
>>746665212Libbies think AI bad due to plagiarism or whatever. They get all offended on the behalf of artists because they think art is the only use for AI.For me, the use of AI is a sign that the people involved do not care. AI is a tool to promote being lazy, to delegate your brain activity to some algorithm. Relying on AI will make you stupider and less capable only to achieve mediocre results.
>>746665212I assume if something is made with AI and it breaks, the creator won't know how to fix it.Why would I gamble my money on that
>>746666631>minor typoOwari da Im brown now...
>>746666531Man you leftists are so gross
>>746666523>does not care if you use AI for programmingyeah why would anyone care about that? The AI pushback has always been about AI-generated images
>>746666727SAAAAR

>>746666456>unless the person using it is outrageously negligent and incompetent
>>746665212For people so eager to forcefully share other people's money and labor trough communism they sure are holding tight on those IP rights.
>>746666736Which is retarded because AI code is far more dangerous than a stupid picture We're heading into a future where future coders will all be replaced jeet ai and nobody will know how to fix it
>>746666531lol you expect these people to remember the gg days? 10 years ago they weren't even on the internet, tourists the lot of them.
Why is this a leftist vs rightist thing? Wouldn't a staunch nationalist hate the idea of a universal tool that can be used to subvert their national ideals?
>>746666251This is just like one of my japanese animes
>>746667016>Why is this a leftist vs rightist thing?Because the people paying indian shills to spam AIslop on every board have told their shills to force it as a leftist/rightist debate despite it blatantly being a bipartisan issue.
>Muh libs>Muh leftists Im actually supposed conservatives and religious people aren't more opposed to AI. The results often look deeply unnatural, it devalues human life and uniqueness, and most of the people involved in the AI industry want to use it enslave or genocide humanity. The government is using it primarily for mass surveillance and military tech. I know the Pope criticized the AI industry but for the most part Prots and Evnagelicals are supportive of it.
>>746665212>What is it about Trans folk being included in society that makes chuds violently seethe and piss themselves?>Most people wouldn't even notice if someone were trans unless it was specifically pointed out to them anyway.
I don't care if it's used for translation work or something extremely minor The problem is Indians who are bob and vagina who push go claude and just generate random garbage and flood everything>>746667016It's a psyop.>OH YOU DON'T LIKE AI YOU'RE A TRANNY
>>746666990Well it's completely unfeasible to forbid AI code as devs don't publish their code, while painting of a horse with three legs is immediately noticable
>>746666219Yeah, it's over because AI has burst and it's all downhill for the tech industry from here on out
>>746665212They always need something to piss and moan about and this is just the latest thing. Given time they will move on to the next thing
>>746667252That's never gonna happen
>>746666531>Moreover its purpose is cost cutting and timesaving, something that will never benefit the customer as prices will never ever lowerI disagree, because the purpose of AI in my eyes isn't to cut costs, it's to make being a game dev more accessible to the masses. Not everyone can be a Toby Fox jack of all trades who's good at everything and also has three years of their life dedicated to just working on their dream game. So, that's where AI comes in, it can fill in the gaps of what you're not good at and that theoretically should lead to more games being able to be put out on the market.
>>746665212>why do people have preferences? Why are you such a fag?
why do boomers i mean zoomers i mean millenials i mean liberals i mean chuds hate AI so much? Are they luddites?
>>746665212I wish it used more AI. The character design is dogshit "learn to draw anime!" westoid bullshit
Liberals were completely fine with AI until their guys weren't in power anymore. They'll 180 back to loving it again next time they are.
>>746667363You just described cost cutting. In your example the guy would have to find likeminded co workers and pay them or give them part of the game's payout. Cant do music? You comission a music guy. Same for anything else you can't do.
>>746667539That looks AI generated, retard.
>>746667539That's literally an AI picture based on anime you moron.
>>746667363Are you really sure you want the masses have more accessible game dev? Someone who couldn't be bothered to make something before AI will mostly just make trash with it. AI usually works better when used by people who already know what they're doing.
>>746667576>>746667671Stop talking, retards. This is what AI looks like.
I don't get why people are so paranoid about liking games that have things made with AI in them when I'm worried if there's any game that's any good in the first place these days.
>>746665212why should i reward lazy people with my money?
>>746667363There's a reason why even before AI the concept of "Ideas Men" was mocked online. I think the issue with the idea of "democratizing art" is that a lot of people think that they have a million dollar idea, but the truth is that unless you have a clear vision of what you want to make and how to get it to market your product likely won't be very good. A lot of idea is are actually shit and you often can't figure out it it's worth doing until you've already started the process of making it and getting dirty with the technical details. Then process is the product basically. Its why even before AI Steam was flooded with cheap Unity and now UE5 slop. The creators might think they have a good idea, but the result is just lazy trash.
As with all things, it’s not black and white. AI is a tool and can and is being used for many valuable things. AI used for art is just icky and anti-human
>>746667879Are you talking about artists or AI lmao?
>>746667553>You just described cost cuttingFair, but that still leads to my point that cost cutting makes making games more accessible. >Cant do music? You comission a music guy. Same for anything else you can't doIt's not that easy. How do you find the music guy? How do you find an art guy, or a programming guy, if you don't have a network or some kind of big publisher to help you?More importantly: how do you pay these workers if you, like many people who are a first time game dev, have no money?
>>746667827>when I'm worried if there's any game that's any good in the first place these days.This. It doesn't matter it's AI or not if it's all shit anyway. you have to be a lemming to support garbage
>>746667905video games aren't art
>wont someone think of the artist that use digital pads and photoshop
>>746667905Effort is not synonymous with quality.
>>746667252>AI has burstNot yet.I think it will not be entirely forgotten, it will remain a useful tool (better every year) but it will no longer be regarded as the future x1000 free money glitch
>>746667808Arr rook same
>>746667827>>746667967this, only dumb normie sheeple like things. true free thinkers spend all of their time on the internet doing absolutely nothing because enjoying anything is for npcs
>>746665212>Guys what's wrong with using the product that takes everyone's jobs and water and powerIt's a mystery
Not even most people op, the shitty twitter screenshot you posted can't tell either, so he's outsourcing his opinions to the mob. Pretty funny actually
>>746665212devs claim that they didn't use AI but they're being really shady and censoring any discussion about it so I don't know if I buy it.
>>746665212Part of it is unthinking tribalism. Can't fault people for being wary though, AI can make some horrid slop if you do it wrong. Since it's still quite new, no one really knows how to wrangle it good, and no one has figured out the boundary between "enhancing production" and "corner cutting".
>>746666638>>746666402What he said, in actual professional writing, every paragraph, story beat and character are tied up in telling a grander narrative that the author is trying to slowly piece together, AI text doesn't serve any thesis and so in anything longer than a short story it's immediately obvious. Humans make paragraphs as building blocks to a larger whole, AI just spins its wheels.
>>746667539Look at that neck.
>>746667968ok fag, get out of this board
>>746668056In 10 years kids will be making urban exploration videos breaking into abandoned data centers. Eventually one will get lost in one of those city sized ones and they'll have to start sealing them off like old mines
>>746668318Yeah it's kinda funny and sad at the same time how people are ready to ask others what they should do or think. They can't form their own opinion because they are afraid that they will choose a side that doesn't match the side they are supposed to be on and thus just let others tell them how they should act. People talk about how others outsource their thinking to AI, while people are doing the exact same thing by outsourcing their thinking to other people

>>746668437>>746668570>fucked up handYou couldn't even use AI right. Scam jeet devs.
>>746668463
>>746665212AI being used in game development is an extremely valid thing to piss and shit yourself about, but people are pissing and shitting themselves about the wrong thing. What Twitter (i.e. Bluesky) people are shitting themselves about is visual AI assets or forgotten placeholders, because back when current X was still former Bluesky, bad artists were worried that AI art would replace them, and the politically correct thing to do was to virtue signal in solidarity. The average sub-100 IQ retard is a thrall to the hivemind, a cog in the machine, and they don't know why they hate AI, they just know they were told to hate it. This is the wrong way to piss and shit yourself about AI. The correct way to piss and shit yourself about AI is the more "invisible" applications of it. The doctors and engineers who are "programming" the game are actually using AI to "vibe code" it now. That's why games are >100gb unoptimized pieces of shit now. It's because no one is coding anything themselves, they're puzzling it together on AI-generated piece at a time. This is something that is worthy of pissing and shitting yourself about, but because Bluesky users were never told they need to be upset about it, it doesn't even cross their mind.

>>746668720stick figures are soul and you're a faggot.
>>746665212Gamers who like gay little fucking mindless chore simulators DESERVE to have AI shoved down their throats
Why would I pay for something I can just prompt myself?I would say "if it's free who cares" but since AI art is a fucking plague of slop that ruins everything by its mere existence, not even that is true. It's just shit, all of it. The only people who value AI are the most are, in essence, the worst people using it.
If a guy gets paid for the work of an AI that makes me jealous and feel that he should simply not be paid.I don't really care if that is a rational stance.
>>746667363The market doesn't need more games, and if you're truly passionate about creating you'll find a way. There are people with no arms painting masterpieces and you're telling me art isn't accessible?
I used AI to make a simple, easy to use combination of FreeCAD and Blender for real size part drafting because I was dissatisfied with the available free program's usability. All AI programmed I don't know any programming. It just works it runs great, I needed several iterations while learning what to do and not to do to get there. The AI did everything I just gave it lists of shit I needed added and changed til I ended up with an instruction document.Get over it. AI can do work and someone who is an actual moron can use it.
>>746668720I miss those ancient stick figure flash animations on newgrounds. Everyone went full edgelord over it, it was embarrassingly fun.

>>746665212Voting with wallet, nothing wrong with it. Players supports devs by buying game. If they dont want to support AI sloppers then its their option not to support them easy as. You can ofcourse cry about it, but that is how it goes.Or you want to dicate how people spend their money?
>>746668808>I can just prompt myself?Prove it. Make something like this >>746667808
>>746667539>>746665212>"le kawaii horusom changasu 90s anime tokyo akiba"this game makes me cringe and piss myself
>>746667084Because there’s a very real subset of people who will instantly be for/against something if you can just label it as leftist/rightist.So, if you can force the idea that something is leftist here, you can make people oppose it through that label alone, and that’s it, no more reasoning needed. Go somewhere else, and the same tactic works, it just may need a different label. But it’s basically just thought/discussion-terminating through appeal to associations.
>>746668956Other way around. Vibe coding is a real danger to programming as a whole because AI literally don't know how to code it can only copy
>>746668905>"oh, look a handicapped person can do it so you can too!" I hate this because it reminds me of the "all you gotta do to get rich is pull yourself up by your bootstraps!" logic that boomers love to spout. There's a reason why Cawthon, Fox, and the guy who made Stardew Valley are looked at like gods by other game devs and it's because not everyone can do what those guys did.
>>746666398people just can't seem to separate the fact that AI can be used for many parts of the dev process and instead think of it as an all or nothing dilemma
Because libs don't think of videogames as a medium in which one should have fun.Libs think of videogames as an artistic medium where their ideas are expressed.Personally I don't give a shit about games using AI if I'm having fun playing them. If AI was used as a low effort cop out, the gameplay will too.If an indie game used AI to focus on the important things that the dev regards will make the game fun, the gameplay will reflect that.Easy as.
>>746665212sheeple must must must stick with their flock.
>>746669102>Cawthon, Fox, and the guy who made Stardew Valleyyou amusingly listed grifters who took inspiration directly from something else which is exactly what AI does lol
>>746668808>The only people who value AI are the most are, in essence, the worst people using it.they aren't people, they're meat bots. they're soulless homonculi that lack that spark of the divine that distinguishes actual people from mindless animals
>>746667016The Left largely hates it because it breaks their monopoly on creative arts by democratizing it, thus loosening their grip on propaganda production. The "Right" loves it because they are about cutting costs and raising prices, and cutting out overpaid "artists" from the loop lets them lower costs even more. The Right is neutral on this new tool, or embracing it to mock the Left.Actual artists are using it as a tool for rough drafts.
>>746668703How long would it take to walk to the egde of Manhattan and then walk a lap around it? People have gotten lost or stuck just in malls that were even operating at the time
>>746668956>Programmers that don't vibe code these days are making their life harder than it needs to be.I do not disagree with this. However, vibe coding creates a worse product, is something that is potentially felt by the player, is more prone to resulting in errors or additional correction later (which will be similarly "vibe coded" out of), and then creates, facilitates, and encourages the production of lower skilled workers.
>>746669076You are just very uninformed about the whole thing, dunno why you want to keep talking about something you don't really understand
>>746665212If you cut expenses developing a game by using AI, then that should be reflected in the games' pricing - simple as.AI is a two way street. It only "benefits society" when it facilitates inferior but cheaper goods at lower cost to produce in less amounts of time. As soon as someone starts asking full price for said easier/cheaper/faster goods then it is only beneficial for the person producing the slop and demanding a premium for it.It is snake oil.It is Chinese steel. It is Indian call centers. It's a scam.
>>746668597AI just sorta does that unless you feed it specific style instructions. Excessive rendering is one of the easier tells to spot once you know to look for it. Even back when AI was just abysmal, abysmal dogshit the easy tells tended to be 'this fuck up is so high effort that no actual person would make it,' like the model trying to slap a whole bunch of belts onto one part of the subject and then melting them into wax. No actual person would make that sort of fuckup because deliberately doing it that badly would take a huge amount of deliberate time and energy.
>>746669252fuck it we dont need people who make me repeat myself

>>746669324We don't need people like you who can't even conceptualize walking around a city sized building
>>746669261No, that's just not the case. With modern AI coding tools, the things they produce when prompted correctly is better quality than what most programmers can produce. It's really fast to iterate on and you can go back and forth with different parts of the implementation or spar different ways to do it and ask it for explanations of doings things a certain way.Yeah, you can vibe code badly if you just prompt like a retard and let Jesus take the wheel. There are lots of Pahjeets that do just that, but even then their output is better than if they did it by themselves. And you replace the low skilled grunts with a skilled programmer using AI now that they no longer have to micromanage a team of jeets.

Your entire way of thinking - your brain chemistry at a fundamental level - is different when you actually experience what it takes to make something. It's tantamount to CEOs or finance teams on big publishers calling the shots on game development with literally zero experience which inevitably ends up wasting time and money as some Indian dev team churns it utter trash in record time to be met with insane losses, which are covered by a new round of job cuts.Except this time you're replacing the talentless CEO with some idea guy, and the Indian work force with a machine that generates assets. You are reaching levels of putrid mediocre dogshit refined on such a level that it almost doubles back in to being performance art to see who can make the most terrible product with the most sincere intentions.

>>746668597It's due to the whole fact AI has an overcompensation issue, it can make things look really waxy or too perfect, that can make things look really off. But then again it's due to training the AI to not do that through prompting and better data.

Is AI perfect right now? No, obviously, but I think in the future it could be an incredibly useful tool when it comes to game development. Theoretically, it could even get to the point where you wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between an AI-generated game and a game made by a person.

I like how people are saying that data centers are going to get abandoned and people are supposedly panicking about not seeing use, when in reality Microsoft and other companies are having to build new data centers because their current ones just don't have enough capacity to meet the demand. You literally cannot make most compute resources in the old data centers because there is not enough hardware available right now
>>746665568>raw AI for visuals or other user-facing components are extremely easy to spotIt absolutely is not, not if it's done well. Fortnite has been AI slopping for months before they were "caught" by uploading a video showing all the AI stuff
>>746666386Their mistake was believing there would be no more work, when in fact the volume of jobs and services increased as the economy became more complex. In fact, the Industrial Revolution ultimately proved extremely beneficial for workers. Despite the initial problems, which were not few, in the end there was far more work, money, products, wealth, and a better quality of life, among other things. So much so that the Marxist Jews of the Frankfurt School, seeing that everything Marx predicted was wrong, and that workers were actually becoming wealthier and happier thanks to the very system the Jewish Marx sought to destroy, had to rework the foundations of that thought (into Neo-Marxism) to convince people they needed to give up those benefits and embrace the subversion and destruction of Gentile society, in order to make way for Jewish globalism. Now the question is whether the "AI revolution" will do the same. For now, all we are seeing is products and services getting worse while everything becomes more expensive. There are indications that these technologies will also be extremely detrimental to the more "metaphysical" aspects of things, such as the arts' transcendental role in the human spirit. There are also signs that people are becoming addicted to asking AIs questions, thereby losing the ability to learn how to conduct research and construct lines of reasoning.

>>746668679>The correct way to piss and shit yourself about AI is the more "invisible" applications of itYeah, that's pretty much it. Those are the real Trojan horses when it comes to forcing a "new thing" on you.First, they get you used to it through vibe coding, after all, people don't directly interact with it. Then they push it through ads and marketing, people may not like it but they slowly start getting acclimated to seeing it every day. Then comes AI music, low importance VA roles, and small UI integrations, people can barely tell the difference unless it's pointed out to them anyway. Then it starts becoming more and more prominent, you see that the cattle not caring as much as they did before before, "it's cheaper and I can't stop it anymore anyway", it gets bigger and bigger while the resistance starts slowly dwindling, and at that point it's pretty much over.People are misguided about what to do against AI. Instead of throwing tantrums online against x and y for using AI and try to get them canceled for a small moral "victory" they should be pushing for it to get regulated, get artists legal protections about their work being used for training, and introduce taxes for AI generated content in products/marketing to balance the scales when it inevitably becomes cheaper than hiring a real human. At the end of the day the only language corpos understand is money.

I don't even buy that when its human made like in your average ubisoft thrash. I'd rather play a crude/ugly game with human intent and direction.I'm not a coder so not going to comment on that part.
>>746668679>That's why games are >100gb unoptimized pieces of shit now.Who cares? Just get a better computer, thirdie. What are you, poor? No wonder you're a dipshit libcuck luddite. Technology has solved this problem.
>>746670968It's already destroyed the online self-publishing market for literature. Now every jeet is dribbling their AI shits all over the place and there's no way to find out what's actually good to read anymore.
>>746666386Reminder the original Luddites had evidence that this was the case from the industrial revolution, where people's life expectancies and quality of life fell harshly for about 100 years. Only recovering once unionization efforts took hold. It wasn't uncommon in some parts of london to have a life expectancy under 30 because of the poverty and dangerous conditions brought upon by industrialization and automation of otherwise simple tasks that could have been done by hand but weren't as profitable.

>>746666386Mass automation is literally the reason why you're allowed to have 95% of the shit inside your home.Without it you wouldn't even have a PC or internet.
>>746672436>>746672035>Their mistake was believing there would be no more workNo, their mistake was thinking people cared about their plight. There is extremely credible evidence from the birth of the Industrial revolution that more automation ruins the lives of countless thousands as it forces them to transition to jobs and roles that aren't as safe and didn't pay as well. Engles Pause was a period of about ~50-80 years when factory and farm owners were controlling everything through automation and the average person could live their entire lives without seeing a cent of the benefits of that automation.
>>746665212Good morning sir.

You know most people wouldn't survive that. The AI bubble is bigger in scale than the industrial revolution, affecting billions of people. >>746674184I feel like people have chilled out about AI code since the strides made in agentic AI and gotten to use it firsthand, actually, at least in programming scenes.
>>746666402Detecting AI-generated text isn't about looking for awkward phrasing anymore—it's about spotting the invisible structure beneath the surface. You can edit the vocabulary all day, swap out synonyms, and inject personal anecdotes, but no amount of rewriting completely erases the underlying digital fingerprint. The reason is that AI inherently relies on a distinct lack of genuine cognitive "friction." Human writing is messy, asymmetric, and deeply retarded. When someone tries to disguise AI text by adding nigger or faggot, they usually just end up creating a cope.>Symmetrical PacingAI loves balance. It defaults to rhythmically uniform paragraphs, predictable clause lengths, and structured transitions that feel polished to a fault, while the flesh puppets that patrol our world write in bursts, mixing abrupt, single-word punches with rambling, multi-comma run-ons, with sentences that go on for hundreds of words by abusing the comma as a period without end, over and over, until you have something incomprehensible. And then, short, pseudo-intellectual, fragment sentences.>Over-Scaffolded LogicEven heavily edited AI text retains a telltale structural rigidity and precision->Sanded-Down EdgesHuman voice is defined by hyper-specific bias, odd metaphors, and slightly imperfect analogies. AI, by design, gravitates toward the safest, most normalfag ground. Even when prompted to sound "retarded" or "based," the underlying tone feels like an anon samefagging himself, poorly.>The "Summary" InstinctHumans state their point, hit send, and walk away.
Ai feels somewhat unique.Because people wanna make money with it, everyone's still figuring out what to use it for, and it's ruining everything. What's most similar to AI? Cocaine?
Good morning sirs!
>>746674470What you said is correct, but the people who use AI are also often stupid enough to eventually leave the prompt in too.I read multiple "news stories" genned by AI where that happened. Laziness begets laziness.

The bussin frfr nocap generation evidently can’t comprehend that people take time to write things, anything appearing to involve any level of consideration or effort must in fact be slop.Having AI write for you is sad. >>746674470Your post actually does one thing AI writing does all the time. It loves rules of three. A thing is always this, that, and the other thing. It has an idea, a follow-up idea, and then an idea to close it off. It loves doing this, and it loves to enumerate the reasons it does this with lists which also follow this rule.I’m not going to carry on like that because writing that way is exhausting but AI writes using the five paragraph essay format a lot, probably because there’s an abundance of sample text that uses it.

>>746674563Plastic and polyester. Companies tried replacing as much as they could with these to save costs. AI is exactly the same
>>746671774Good example because that clusterfuck of a game struggles so much because the dev is an incompetent retard and to actually optimize it the game will need to be rewritten from the ground up. Not even with Claude Fable such a task can be done easily, and you'll need actual programming experience to avoid the AI going around doing things it shouldn't do. I know that because I've been using it extensively at work, and even in our rather small projects you have to babysit it a lot. That's why non-programmers will never be at the same level of programmers. You're unable to understand what the AI is writing and why it may be bad or not.

It's small things that you can only spot if you use these models a lot, really.
>>746669103We just don’t want the fucking data centers
>>746675989AI shouldn’t really have “tells”, it’s a flat gray amalgam of human speech. It should be boring and uninspired but not really “incorrect”, everything it does is just it emulating how it observed humans actually wrote. Any time you see an AI do some shit and thing “who writes like that?” the answer has to be “tens of thousands of people across millions of scraped pages of training data”
>>746676153lots of people used them before AI you fucking dipshit, that's why AI uses them

They don't know anything but sitting around in a board room and pretending to be important so they can't judge the quality of the "work" done by LLMs

Why did tech libertarians basically do a 180 on their beliefs? Bitcoin shills were annoying but at least the general goals were laudable. Decentralization, privacy, less reliance on the government and central banks.
