JRPGs suffer from the grinding curse, in every JRPG you'll reach a boss who is levels above you and the only way to catch up through grinding however grinding is mind numbing so most people will just drop the game, this can all be fixed by providing intentional exploits with spots to make grinding fast and easy however most JRPGs dont do that probably cause they think padding game lenght will make more people buy but truth is most people with jobs won't
>>
in 99% of the cases grinding is not necessary at all

Or maybe you're bad at games that are already comically simplistic so instead of thinking for once on thinking outside of the "spam big attack unga and heal sometimes" paradigm you just grind to bruteforce the game

I cannot think of the last JRPG I played where I needed to grind to beat it. The only time I need to grind are shitty Job systems because those games lock all the fun shit behind grinding.

I mean the one you used as the example doesn't even require grinding. The last one I played that needed grinding was Ys: Origin on Nightmare because the bosses have a DPS check from self-healing, and that was only because I picked nightmare (the superior Ys 1 didn't need grinding on Nightmare).

I doubt you can even show us a save file of a game you needed to grind in. Any retard on 4chan can chatgpt "grindy game examples" but show us one you actually played. You can't.

What the fuck are you talking about? The last JRPG I had to grind in was on the fucking NES.
