We are going to need more people mixing songs so we can work through all the submitted vocals in time this year.

Here's a resource of torrents for plugins you can use to help you get started with mixing your vocals and stuff later on, I pulled all of them from RuTracker: https://files.catbox.moe/vosvme.zip
It also includes some guides, and a link for both Nvidia and AMD instrumental extractors. I have not updated the torrent selection yet for this year, but I might do it during the week.

For audio software, I recommend REAPER. It's not as easy as Audacity, but once you learn it you'll be able to do whatever you need: https://www.reaper.fm/download.php - Mixing template is contained in the included in the ZIP I posted earlier.

The song calls for a "crooner" voice, but the Head Ratte frequently dips in and out of a gravelly "evil" voice. You've got some leeway there. The instrumentals will also do a lot of the heavy lifting, all you've gotta do is keep pace with the original song.

Before I put any effort into it, The song "Turn the Page" has two artists. The original, Bob Seger, and Metallica. I wanted to do a Bob Seger version, and it says it's open. But the Metallica one is claimed.

To sum up the game past the clips, it's about Nanao from Robot Alchemic Drive, infamous for a silly dub. She's a romantic interest for the main character that pilots a giant mech to protect his/her local area from invading evil mechs. You have to literally protect buildings, because if you let an enemy touch them (or hit them yourself) they are destroyed, and this includes things like Nanao's homes or workplaces. The "bread and water soup" scene is probably the biggest meme from it, and I thought "soup" could sound nice replacing words like "glue".

alas it took 3 days to write this one song since I don't have much time to write let alone sing anymore with my situation now. I tried my best to match syllables/meter/emphasis/rhyming schemes if you have an idea for a better line have at it.
