The majority of 3H fans don't really play Fire Emblem but enjoy the day to day life in the Monstary like they did with Persona and the story/characters.The only flaw with the game is that it's on a five hundred dollar paper weight. With some witch magic you could probably get the game to run on the Switch 1 but Nintendo has consoles to sell.

In truth there is no way to design a game with fixed stats to be challenging and rewarding. Fixed options are inherently not skilled decision making. You need variance and player choice in decision making to create an actually skillful game. FE stat variance is the worst possible variance you can introduce because it cannot be balanced in a way that effects player decision making in a meaningful way. Even dynamic stat adjustment for the enemy would be a terrible solution. At the end of the day that just turns a fight into a shitty chess puzzle. The issues are baked into the format itself. I truly have no idea how the fuck anyone would design an actually difficult and worthwhile to engage with (very intended) game using FEs core mechanics. I really think it's simply not possible. Which is why FW deserves all the more praise for its story execution. That's the only good thing FE has that can be improved on.
Sacred Stones, Tracia and Blade whatever are the only good ones.
