I just finished FF7 Remake part 1 for the first time to get myself ready for Revelations and I like the game but I hate HAAAATE Aerith's segments so fucking much. When I played Remake for the first time in 2021, I enjoyed the Aerith segments the most, especially when you meet her at the church. After that, I was a die hard Clerithfag who took personal offense to the existence of Clotis. I played Rebirth last year, and by that time I found that I no longer cared for Aerith nearly as much. If anything, I started favoring Tifa more because of the childhood friend trope and because she looks so fuckable now. I mean, Aerith is very fuckable too, but she's too bratty. Tifa would take your cock like a good slut, is what I felt. In my mind it makes perfect sense for Cloud to have liked Tifa when they were young, only to move on and have feelings for Aerith instead.
