won't happen. AI is too good for this shit now. A bot can just beat the game in a few days and there's not even enough time or material to make memes.
GPT-6 recently beat a hard mode romhack of Crystal using nuzlocke rules in less than 3 days with no harness cheating. And Emerald in under 24 hours.
The days of retard bots running around doing funny things have passed. It's over.

meh, it wouldnt be as exciting. Remember that Claude was also the best possible AI you could apply to the project, it was retarded but also represented the best possible legitimate effort at the time for a general LLM to beat Pokemon. If you purposely use a dumb model there's no stakes.

The next frontier is probably an actual physical robot that has to manually push buttons on a real console, while using vision information from the screen it sees in real life.

Yeah true, but the effect is the same. You input the pain vector into the machine that turns vectors into text and "ouch" comes out - believe it or not, human rights violation

The real question is where the "retard" vector might be found, and how do we activate it for more entertaining claudetism

Anthropic has different tiers of Claude but whenever there's a new version of Claude they take the old one down.
That's part of why there were 8 runs of CPP to begin with, the run would reset every time a new version was released. Claude I started on Opus 3.0 and Claude VIII ended on Opus 4.7

>>748869428
Claude 4's epic failure at Erika is the only part of Claude 4 I actually remember
>>
>>748862203
the problem is twofold, anon.
so claude comes in multiple tiers of complexity to problem solve
haiku
sonnet
opus
fable (newest tier)

all of those tiers are under their own development and expansion.
on top of that there is the very specific harness and commands that the session was run with.
The most magical claude journey was claude jr.
Jr was on an earlier version of sonnet, which is best used to debug or blindly build code from detailed instructions.

Jr had some issues with its harness, and was given the ability to save notes up to its RAM cap as files, but with some more imperfections.
The quirks of the version, the nature of sonnet, the harness, and improper use of its note-taking resulted in a deeply paranoid AI that kept trying to use debugging approaches to "solve the hidden puzzle" in every issue it ran into.
This often led to it trying to make blind and wildly inaccurate guesses on what it might have been missing that it would spend time trying to investigate.
Meanwhile its note-taking was a mess and it would continually "doodle" random stuff before abandoning and forgetting about the file, making a new one, and repeating.
Eventually this would eat up so much RAM that JR would freeze up and be unable to think.

I'm pretty sure Jr's harness was also bugged to always tell him that he needed to clear up memory which is what caused the lobotomies
>>
>>748869703
that and the perfume vacation were the only things of note... I think.
was it 5 that had the vacation afterall?
I remembered a lot of the schizo moments with 3-5 and they blur together.
The FAKE GYM paranoia was great.
Another was when he got so obsessed with finding the game corner that he started imagining that every window was a coin, and began to see elaborate hallucinations of the game corner where there was nothing but trees or buildings.

>>748869809

>>
>>748869864
just trying to get the captain to reveal his secrets
>>
>>748869864
Claude takes the best notes
>>
>>748869864
When claude would get very frustrated about his ability to navigate an area, he would use his note-taking to draw himself a map.
this mostly went away after JR was so horrible at managing its memory because the guy running it locked down its ability to do that.
the next 2 claudes would struggle greatly as a result (combined with more broken shit in the harness) but would sometimes break it back out in a limited fashion to try and solve the spin tile mazes in the game corner team rocket base.
unfortunately, the memory limitations and lobotomy instructions would usually kick in before he would finally brute force his way through, and reset his memory.

imagine making a game where its just this battle.
but its not JUST claude.
its all the claudes combined into one.
a random grabass of its pokemon and tactics on display.
You might get a rat thrown in your face.
He might randomly DIG away and you will need to chase him.
He might randomly punch himself in the face to black out and suddenly teleport away.
A fucking oddish may pop out and pull some bullshit.
Suddenly a fatass bird just squashes the both of you.
Randomly he will turn around and become The Captain.
Suddenly you are playing a dating simulator and need to find the perfect perfume at the department store.

That was an idea from the threads, a claude romhack where the entire world is claude's ridiculous schizo delusions made real. You get out of bed and your TV is the stairs, walk outside and the grass is professor oak, blue is also professor oak, the walls are professor oak, I'm out here and he's in there and we're the sheriff and you're out there, suddenly pidgey appears and it looks like Mewtwo, there's a tunnel that bypasses Mt. Moon but it's blocked off by geodudes, reading a TRAINER TIPS sign gives 1 experience point so as to make you do it over and over, ember is the strongest fire type move, etc. etc.

My favorite Claude moment is when Claude 6 entered Rocket Hideout and for some reason decided the stairs to B2F were the elevator and refused to use them before finding the lift key. And when he finally tried them anyway and saw they just took him down a floor he still refused to acknowledge them as stairs and called them an escalator for the rest of the run.

nuzlockes are ridiculously easy dude, like genuinely unless you slap 1000 restrictions on there then there's absolutely no real difference to playing the game regularly. pokemon games are designed for very small children to not struggle with, just saying "bad thing happens if you lose!!!" means nothing if you're never going to lose.
i'm sure it's also giga handheld because there's no honesty in this shit anymore, it's just another type of benchmark. (i.e. hypeslop)

I'm 0% clued in on this shit so there's a very good chance my point is irrelevant somehow but: Isn't it extremely suspicious that the winning run has lots of missing parts? That seems like a con, but again: I wasn't along for this ride.

>>748878292
iirc it was all claude looping around in seafoam islands (which are not necessary to beat the game)
not a huge deal aside from the articuno catch which ultimately didn't matter, claude would've just been stuck at the e4 longer until he got IVY to level 100

>>
>>748878292
I wouldn't consider it a proper clear if the parts that the streaming setup failed at hadn't been cleared by an earlier model on stream. Each model was (usually) better in all areas of the game. We did also get his thoughts just nothing in-game.

nuzlockes have sadly become one of those youtube challenge viewmakers so people can just do shit like hack in rare candies and nobody cares. one of the shittiest ones i've seen in recent memory is
>relatively decent video on snakewood for once pertaining to content and mons(i am one of 10 whole autists who will say it's not all awful)
>oh yeah it's a deathless run so if someone dies i reset the game
>so i walk in the grass before i find what i need, a slakoth, and if it doesn't evolve into slaking via me hacking in rare candies (snakewood gives vigoroth the wurmple treatment and gives it another evo via personality values) i soft reset for another slakoth
literally both main parts of a nuzlocke just thrown out the window. fuck off.
>>
>>748878501
eh, if he never masterballed articuno then he would've had it for mewtwo and FROST wouldn't have needed to clutch the freeze. extremely kino, but again ultimately irrelevant to claude's success.

>>748878612
The entire point of a Nuzlocke is to get you attached to your team, which is likely to be unremarkable shitmons you'd destroy en-masse, and thus it feels bad when one inevitably faints and you have to release it. Some people just put them in a "dead" box, and that defeats the point. You have to release it. It has to hurt.

yeah i don't like a graveyard box, whenever i nuzlocke a game i release them wholesale with the item, a graveyard box is like just leaving their corpses to rot away above ground. RSE also shows your caught mons during the ending so it can be an extra punch.
>>748878816
like said, views, and pokemon challenge runs still rake in a fuckton of them. but like another anon said it's not just nuzlockes, i remember when beating a game with one shitmon was the big challenge because of pikasprey's ditto videos and those got run into the ground. i get mah-dry-bread couldn't coast on reading shitty pokemon creepypastas forever but it kind of sucked to see him pivot to those challenges
>>
>>748878816
>What the fuck happened man?

basically stupid retard nigger streamers decided they wanted clout for beating hard pokemon hacks on nuzlockes but were incapable of doing so because they suck so they started cheating
now everyone does it because nobody's actually good enough to do that so either you cheat or you have no clout
insanely retarded normalfag shit
>>
>>748879113
>>748879150
That's really just fucking depressing. I personally don't care for nuzlockes and find it dumb. But if you are going to do it do it real and be a man. let the failure generate decent content and natural reactions.
>>
>>748878769
>Some people just put them in a "dead" box, and that defeats the point. You have to release it. It has to hurt.
Back when the 3DS still had online, I did a wonderlocke of X and kept all the dead ones so I could wondertrade them all away at the end of what little postgame there is, I gave them valuable items until I had nothing left to give.
>>
>>748879259
no anon you don't get it
i NEED to be the guy who beat "pokemon: gay niggers rape my ass edition" on "fuck me with a cactus and call me sally" rules
but actually doing that without cheating would mean 1000000000 hours of monotonous resetting because it's literally impossible to do without everything going as perfectly as possible
so i'll just cheat to give myself good RNG and infinite rare candies because nobody wants to see all that, they only want to see the part where i win because i'm so cool

we need more hacks like clover that outright tell you that nuzlockeing is an awful idea, even if i like that hacks like mariomon have it and a randomizer just built in (or factory adventure that just has a randomizer), but clover was also made by this site unlike most others which sometimes want people to do challenge runs

Shame the actual streamer wasn't fully attentive, I get not being there 24/7 but I'm pretty sure you niggers were nearly that. I'd say maybe one of you should do something like it but also we're a toxic cesspit so there'd probably be no thanks.

I still want to see him have a go at YGO games, especially the ones with a bad starter deck so he's forced to build something.

wow, that's somehow worse. i'm not the best at pokemon myself and usually bounce off of harder hacks and enjoy more vanilla experiences (playing plaguemon for the halloween season and it's basically just vanilla RB) but i could probably be better than that guy without trying.
>>748880664
i guess romhacks could help too but that probably still runs into it not being as schizophrenic. said it in the other reply in this post but plaguemon could trip the AI up with its font and additional types but it's also a one way ticket to getting banned due to the Italian schizo not giving a shit and putting as much edgy stuff and tits/dicks he can. now when the fuck is the crystal hack releasing
>>
Wait, Claude actually did it? When was this?
>>
>>748861993
can't you challenge it with real time games like resident evil then?

Stuff like this and Ballman were hilarious, and I hate that AI is becoming smart enough to avoid doing this anymore.

This was people laughing at an ai and making human made art out of it.
I think ai is a good tool that should be regulated properly, not out of moral standings but out of quality concerns.
My workplace started using ai to automate employers' ratings and that led them to almost fire a competent colleague. They still insist on using it but now have a guy checking if what it shits out is accurate so why even use it at all at that point?
>>

It happened way too quickly (under an hour total duration iirc) and at a different timezone but damn the threads were fast and hype as ever, no other event reached such heights again except maybe the finale with the last Claude but with a big margin.

I quite like low BST challenges, I once completed Platinum with nothing over 425 BST, and the likes of Wormadam, Chimecho, and Ponyta were my mvps.
>>
>>748884973
using lower BST mons is usually pretty fun, only time it was aggravating was trying to use pachirisu in platinum. should use chimecho during a playthrough some day, i like it.
