What you're doing is eating a meal, skip a week, repeat until you're out of turns before the chapter event, then reset. It adds nothing to the actual gameplay loop.

>>748947112The point of this gameplay loop is that you're not supposed to get every character in every route but that every route feels like building their own unique team that merges in the next phase. That's why some characters are so much harder to recruit for some lord's while others are so much easier. You're supposed to get like 1/4th of the characters in every route and only those you really like you grind for to ensure that they are strong in Act 3
