AI can absolutely come up with new game ideas, I just ask it to come up with one and it does. I don't know where you got the idea it couldn't.

Why is slop still using this awful writing style?
>it's not x it's y
>you are absolutely right
etc.
GPT 3.5 sounded normal back in the day
>>
bro it's the third thread in a row that i aint reading
>>
>>749021867
Ask it to come up with the next million dollar patreon paypig weg.
>>
>>749021887
Cos I use AI at work, and it's wrong 90% of the time, I see it constantly be fucking annoyingly sycophantic.
>The user is right to push back on this
>Yes you are absolutely right and I was incorrect in my assumption.
It's basically just like "omg im so sorry for this transgression!" like a stereotypical jap woman after missing a speck of dirt when doing the dishes before she commits seppuku.
>>
>>749021867
that's a fucking card game, but with another theme
it cant create anything new, it described basic combat but changed the names around to sound law themed
>>
AI can't even tell if it's AI or not.
>>
>>749021887
It’s trained on Reddit posts
>>
How many fucking AI posts do we need
>>
>>749022037
How many seetheposts do you need?

Vocal minority getting a bit upset now that majority rule is crushing them. You were never the popular opinion, just the noisiest one.
>>
>>749022037
They're payed for shitting this content onto these platforms, not the actual success of said shilling.

AI is the future.
Luddites will always lose.
>>
>>749022037
theyre trying to force obviously retarded IPOs through and need as many users as possible so it makes it look like they have real growth
expect more until that happens

How many jeets in the world are there? There's your answer.
>>
>>749021828
>>749021867
what the fuck is this retarded shit?
>>
I think the only feeling worth having about AI is weary resigned disdain
>>
>>749022037
Why haven't the mods made an AI containment board like they did with MLP and Pokemon
>>
>>749021867
This isn't new, I played it, it's an eroge about office drone, don't remember the name but it was wife NTR themed.
I repeat AI recommended you to make a game based on NTR game, this is the funniest shit right there.

>normalfags are slowly realizing that combining old ideas cunts as a new idea and AI can do that
zamn, it only took you subhumans like billions of normalfags and a few years of debate for this simple realization kek
>>
>>749022885
Been wondering about this since /g/ started crying about it
But now half of the threads over there are about AI.
>>
>>749022157
Shouldn't they be shitting on the street instead
>>
>>749023008
No amount of seething is going to save the luddites.
AI is here to stay and I fully embrace it.
>>
The more developed and educated a nation is the less receptive the people are to AI
Funny how that works
>>
>>749021828
Cool, guess we doesn't need you anymore
>>
>>749021953
It's a yes man. What do you expect? You can make it antagonistic and argumentative with a proper pre-prompt though.
>>
>>749022413
>AI doesn’t like to draw boobs and so far is used almost exclusively for stealing art and censorship but it’ll make medical advances I SWEAR just 60 more lakes and we’ll cure cancer
>>
We doesn't never did not need you before tomorrow forever.
>>
>>749023070
It's cool and all, but it's the quality of most of it that pieces me off
There's a lot of ports for example now that use AI, but DAMN some of them are bare minimum ports with slow performance and bugs to boot.
Only time will tell too if they get around fixing the ports too.
>>
>>749022153
That's rich, an AI fag calling anyone a minority
>>
>>749022689
I mean the numbers won't lie when they start charging for it and the user base is cut by 90%
>>
>>749021867
This is Exalted but infinitely lamer.
>>
>>749023008
There's a difference between actually discussing it and jeets just mindlessly spamming whatever half brain idea they fleetingly had

This really does sum up AI slop.
It tries so hard to be generic, even when mashing up two settings it cannot help but take the boring route.
>It's an RPG so that means it needs wizards, so that means you're a "leximancer" instead of just a lawyer solving cases with RPG mechanics.
>Yeah the lawyer has someone cast a freeze spell on him while he's exploring a dungeon for some reason.
>>
As a game dev, AI is absurdly nice for making myself tools to work with. Like it doesn't need to generate the graphics or design the games or anything, being able to quickly build level editors or whatever else I need is great. That and being able to help me add quickly any features that would've been too confusing or complicated to code in the past.

I don't want AI touching the creative parts of games, but even without that it's going to revolutionize indie games at least. It's going to pump out endless garbage, but it's also going to make some really cool games possible from small teams.
>>
>>749021867
This is terrible and isnt even self-consistent.
>Monsters don’t cast fireballs, they assert property rights and file cosmic injunctions!
>When an enemy casts curse of sickness
>If a boss attacks you with a massive sword
So which is it? Because this is just a generic rpg where the player’s spells get renamed. AI isn’t creative enough to turn the theme into an actual good idea
>>
"Luddite"-spammers are some of the biggest retards infesting this forsaken place, but at the same time they're some of the most boring shitposters.
>>
>>749021828

Steam is full of trash like this now. You can tell when it's based on an AI prompt instantly.

If you run an analysis on every ai thread, you could determine which is considered more insulting by the frequency of “brown” vs “troon”
>>

fuckin AI can't do anything right

I never get it.
>>
>>749021867

You guys know these AIs just crawl reddit for answers right? These ideas are just posts buried in some gamedev subreddit. It has like 20 years of posts to pull from.
>>
>The air was filled with a low hum of anticipation. Dimly lit threads dance in the dusk, casting long shadows across the hollow boards. Elara glances at the posts, her breath hitched and knuckles white. Her keyboard—no, her companion—gleamed in the faint light. Each stroke a promise, each promise a thread. It’s not ozone, it’s the breath of words hung in the air between them
