People here live entirely in the present, any trends from 5-10 years ago don't exist and people blame zoomers for problems that have been an issue for 10+ years. CRTs are the worst, CRT inflation has been an issue since like 2012 and I remember looking at PVMs in 2016 and they were wildly overpriced. Yet according to /v/ higher cost of TVs and retro gaming in general only became and issue for the past couple of years because of younger people huying retro gaming stuff to show off on YouTube. Zoomers can only really be blamed for high 3DS stuff since you can directly trace this back to social media trends. However Nintendo inflation has ALWAYS been a problem, even used NES and SNES games were wildly overpriced back in the day. The Gamecube nostalgia is just a continuing trend, it happened to every other Nintendo console as well. My guess is the Wii will eventually become more valuable in the future as well. My point is "smartphone brain" is affecting a lot of people here and a lot of yoi seem completely unable to comprehend anything that happened more than a few years ago. Presentism is a disease.
It's mostly paid shills attacking each other or the the rest of us. It's a shame because this site used to be a great place for genuine discussion but the people that give us real meaty conversations and basically guide a thread have either died or got fed up with interacting with the shills. I really miss the old 4chan.
It's easy to blame zoomers for everything. Just look at how boomers did it (to be fair boomers hate everyone including themselves) but yeah. It's basically just zoomers blaming zoomers for things that existed for years
