Some things are getting fixed. The high elves (blood elves) have almost been completely eradicated by Arthas this time around except for the few that followed kael through the portal. QuelThalas will be destroyed and completely scourged as it always should have been

The besr thing the modern blizzard team can do is feed all the warcraft lore prior to cataclysm to an AI and have the AI handle all the lore and world building. The game is only going to become worse and worse until it is unplayable if the current human devs at blizzard are allowed anywhere near it

The most social aspect of the game is dungeons and raiding. World questing makes grouping harder because of quest loot drops and quest item spawns. There is no point in grouping to collect harvested wheat when only 1 person can loot it and then it vanishes for minutes, and there's a 50 people waiting for the respawns.
