I've been using a card that has the primary character plus a handful of side characters in the setting and it's used them. I also have a sandbox school setting where I just let it gen characters as they come and I add entries for them in the bank, also worked.

I find it so funny when I see someone say "no its not repetitive! just use X model or do X thing and it will totally be different!" and then its all just the same predictable shit over and over again and barely any different.
I went to something like mikupad, where its just a basic text editor, after realizing chatbots were all garbage and shit. Its far far easier to guide the story along and in a fraction of the time it would take with a chatbot with way less tard wrangling. I also feel like text completion allows my creative juices to flow better then chatbots ever did or ever could.

When I write bots there are story beats, complex motivations, twists and secrets. It's not repetitive because the LLM is asked to do something different and given instructions on how to do it.
