I think a lot of young online zoomer Christians try to grasp and any and all straws they can to build up their self esteem and it often results in them looking foolish and ignorant. Usually they will look at a game with things simple like "be courageous and kind, help the needy, be good" and while this is aligned to Christian ideology, to say it is exclusively that makes it Christian, they take it a bunch of steps forward and says that makes it a Christian game even though these concepts are not exclusively found in the Christian religion. They also will confuse games having European Christian aesthetics as the same as being a Christian story. I don't think that Devil May Cry is a Christian story, and it is obvious many writers have a shallow understanding of Christianity and use it's cultural aesthetics because they think it looks coolThat said, even with the lot of things they claim are Christian usually just inspired, either be it through thematics or aesthetics, HALO definitely rings with the thematics and is more leaning as Christian than any other religion in its symbolism, but I think many people try to force some parallels they can, no matter how awkward and questionable they are, and muddy up the interesting topic
