I tried with relic weapons upgrading skills for cannon, the flying blades and unlimited spear dash if you hit an enemy, all of them feel like they do little damage compared to my warrior pawn. Dealing with normal mobs on hardmode is pretty tough, I went warfarer just to use my sword which gives guaranteed instant pin on weak mobs + stabby skill that kills most of them in one go. Though for big bosses spamming spear cannon at their weakpoint seems to be the best and safe but I think archer would be better with relic upgraded skills

The actual big guys are fun to fight but I still think it's too easy right now. Maybe it'll get harder as it goes because I'm oneshotting most enemies
Is RC only used to purify gear in DA? I still have to buy all the expensive bougie glasses from that rift guy in base game. Making sure I'm not fucking myself over and spending all my RC if there's ANOTHER store in the expansion.

Is it worth using the Siocadh over the Dragon's Breath on my first playthrough? That is, the ice element magic bow over the highest damaging magic bow you can buy. I dunno how useful the frost buildup is when you already have access to ninefold or whatever it's called now. I'm just thinking back to DD1 and how useful torpor bows were.

>>749361073Honestly I don't know if fighter is better or not, I havent seen any new OP relic fighter skills other than the gouging skewer upgrade which instantly pins most weak human sized or smaller enemies before stabbing them for a lot of damage.Not sure if it's the new pawn AI with the update but my warrior seems to mount large enemies and whack them than trying to fight them on the ground like me. They can still tank most melee hits on hard but if they get magic damage from something like breath attacks they crumple. I think I also saw some relic shields that give resistance to cold breath on defending which would be good for some of the bosses in norgan if you pick a fighter

The performance boost and snappier movement really makes the gameplay way nicer than it did was release, vanilla DD2 legit felt unpleasant to play, I can normally tank bad framerates but something about the bad fps, jerky camera and how sluggish your character could feel gave me bad motion sickness which I've never gotten by playing another game ever. Now it feels closer to DD1 and plays much better

Hire my pawn! He is a warrior, has some nice new DLC gear, and the new orienteering specialization. He will cook for you at any campsite, and if you dotn have meat he will scrounge around his pack and always come up with a scrag. If you are in the base game He has all camping badges and can show you to rift stones, treasure and caves, and has done all the quests and side quests if you want a guide for them. We have made it to the first camp site in the DLC. You can also friend request me if you cant afford the rift crystals to hire him.
