The act of killing is the act of "winning", every npc you kill on a game is a step into "solving" the game, to beat it.
There are games that does not have the option of killing, just complete objectives in order to win, the steps change visually but is the same, the main objective is the same.
The problem to sexual gratification via gameplay is that the objetive is not beating the game/getting a score/beating a personal record, etc. Is just to cum.

Doesn't it somewhat depend on the nature of how the act is gameified? For instance, there certainly has been controversy surrounding a game like "Hatred" even among people who are into shooters because in Hatred you kill for the sake of killing. Your character isn't defending themselves or protecting others, it's really just about inflicting the maximum amount of suffering onto the world because the main character hates everything. If a person is obsessed with this game specifically, to the exception of other comparable shooters with similar gameplay, that'd be pretty suspicious. They certainly wouldn't be looked at the same way as someone who is really into Halo or Counter Strike. The key difference is that when we encounter gamefied sexual abuse in videogames that can be carried out by the player, it really ends up being more in the category of Hatred rather than Halo. You're not doing it because your character is pursuing some greater goal, or because the gameplay is mechanically satisfying and engaging, but because you're sitting there with your dick in one hand while the other interacts with visual novel tier complexity. There is very little plausible deniability that what you're really there for is the shit happening on your screen as long as you're sexually aroused. The moment your arousal cedes you'd close the window and do something else. With violent videogames, with a few exceptions, that doesn't really track. There are people that play Doom who have zero interest in the gore and violence but just like the mechanics and flow of it. There are people who play DMC who don't give a fuck about its satanic themes and just want to see pizza wahoo guy do crazy combos while they keep up the style meter. No one's fucking playing these fetish games for the intricate story or the scoring system.
