When rerolling you choose two substats and at least two upgrades are guaranteed but every reroll adds to a counter and when that counter fills you get an upgraded reroll with an additional guarantee and it caps at four guaranteed upgrades.The crafting system is by far the more useful of the two and is extremely beneficial to all players. Reroll "currency" is more limited and is typically only used to reroll a god tier base(for example if you get Crit/Crit/Atk/EM but all upgrades go into attack) or by whales who participate in dick measuring contests who dump all currency on a single character for borderline perfect artifacts.>That was my biggest complaint before, you spend money or save for a character and there's nothing to do with themAside from Abyss there's no Imaginarium Theater which is mostly a body count check for three rotating elements and Stygian Onslaught which is just a set of three rotating bosses that is very easy to clear if you just want primogem rewards but becomes exponentially more difficult if you want to clear higher difficulties for feathers(artifact reroll currency) or temporary weapon cosmetics. I've had Klee since 2020 but never actually used her until after she got buffed and now she's at least strong enough to clear everything except the highest difficulty in SO. Qiqi is unironically arguably meta now. Yae went from a Fischl side/downgrade to one of the most meta characters now. Noelle got her tenth indirect buff and once again manages to cling to relevance. It's very hit or miss with old characters but in general you can still make use of almost everyone.

Im doing the Snez AQ after skipping Nod Krai (for now) I fucking hate when they force me to hang with the non playable characters esp when they outnumber the good designs of the actual playable ones (or plot important ones like antags)I just spent way too much time on this murder mystery and im remembering why I want a skip cutscene button. Not cause I hate the story but I just dont like how Archon Quests have us doing these really long tedious things that feel more fitting in a World Quest or Character Story questwill probably take a big break and just do some exploration and maybe get back to grinding mats for my house
